Real gem of a hotel in a sleepy town away from the more touristy parts of the island. Unique, historical property with beautifully restored rustic rooms and charming common areas and a huge roof terrace. Really comfortable beds, delicuous breakfast and romantic dinners in the living room. Staff very friendly too.

My recent stay at the Hotel Emblemático La Casa de los Naranjos was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped into this beautifully restored 19th-century manor house, we were transported to another era. The attention to detail in the design is impeccable, with an eclectic mix of antique and contemporary elements that perfectly complement the historical setting.

Our room was simply charming, with comfortable furnishings and thoughtful touches like high-quality toiletries. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready with recommendations for local restaurants and attractions.

What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its unique atmosphere. It's a place where you can slow down, relax, and truly appreciate the beauty of Lanzarote. We were especially grateful for the hotel's willingness to accommodate our request to film on the property. Their flexibility and support made our project even more special.

If you're looking for a truly unique and authentic experience in Lanzarote, I highly recommend the Hotel Emblemático La Casa de los Naranjos. It's a place where history, hospitality, and exceptional design come together to create a magical stay.

Lovely experience in an exceptional location. Great waiter, and awesome owner. The waiter brought us an a bottle of wine from a limited collection from the island. The artichoke appetizer was brillant. The restaurant just opened up two weeks ago, we wish them all the best with their new adventure on the culinary road. The experience, in the exceptional building, made the visit from Manriques Casa unforgettable.

Probably the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed in. José, the owner and creator of the hotel, refurbished the traditional Manor House during lockdown, with the help of his daughters.

He’s evidently a man of superb taste with an excellent understanding of what makes a place luxuriously comfortable and welcoming.

Our rooms (we booked 2 nights in one room, the third in another, because the hotel was full in November) were stunning; quiet, just perfect really. We had a freestanding bath with a sumptuous shower (divinely scented soaps and shampoos), spotless linen on plump pillows, springy mattresses.

Although the hotel’s restaurant was out of service for dinner and lunch, breakfast was delicious and the Green Door restaurant, less than 10 minutes walk away, fed us delicious meals.

Haría, the quiet and pretty little town in which the hotel rests, is a world away from the frantic tourist traps of towns in the south. (You need a car. Taxis from the airport are more expensive than rentals.)

There are unspoilt beaches close by — the best one requires a 400my sheer descent down hairpin shingle paths followed by a 20 minute walk — not for the faint-hearted or the unfit.

José could not have been more helpful, advising us on places to visit in Lanzarote, telling us about the island’s history and his work on the hotel.

I have saved the best for last though: the house dog, Balbo, is utterly adorable, beautiful, affectionate and prone to sudden, chaotic breaks for freedom, pursued by whoever’s handy and fast.

We will be back.

Truly a unique experience and the best hotel I stayed at on Lanzarote.

The hotel is located in an incredible carefully restored villa. Rooms are equipped with antique gems collected by the owner as he also holds an antique store in Madrid. Hotel is spacious yet charming and built with respect to the local culture. You will feel at home once you step into it.

Don't forget to visit an antique library upstairs where you can sit down with a nice book and a glass of wine in the evening and completely unwind.

Delicious a-la-carte Breakfast in the beautiful dining room is the perfect way to start your day:)

The owner is a charming and interesting person to talk to and is always happy to help you.

It was a pleasure to stay there and we can't wait to come back again.

Exceptional experience - small and very well maintained guest rooms in an exceptionally particular decor. Rooms are decoratively thought through providing for a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast is fantastic, as is the host which provides valuable tips.

Amazing hotel!

Every thing here is not random. Everything is assembled like an antique puzzle, with incredible taste. In the room we found books from the 19th century. And the oldest library in Canary Island also is here, you can come and see all the books.

Very attentive, friendly and open hotel staff.

Breakfast you can choose from the menu: starter with yogurt and fruit, main course, dessert. Fresh, delicious and elegant.

This is probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in.

Absolutely loved it when I stayed in late spring, the intoxicating scent of orange blossom.

I searched fruitlessly all over Lanzarote to find what I eventually found here in Haría - a charming village with great cafes and restaurants in walking distance, a place to stay with charm, character and individuality.

I stayed in two different rooms and preferred the one upstairs as it was quieter, though the vintage bathtub downstairs was gorgeous too.

Lovely breakfasts and dinners. Loved sitting on the roof terrace. Amazing hikes and drives nearby - definitely have a car! Can’t wait to go back!

Exceptional historic building with an incredible staff that makes sure that every second of your stay will be memorable. You will stay in a very old house (aprox 200yrs old as attested by the cards in the library) that has been reconditioned to the highest standards. You can roam freely on the terrace and the library. The rooms are incredibily spacious and CLEAN.

Cosy and romantic hotel. Friendly service, great breakfast and a newly opened restaurant. Food was excellent as well as the service. The hotel itself is stining with an inner courtyard where you can enjoy your breakfast. It has a roof terrace with great views and the oldest library of the island. I booked a 90 min massage - in our hotel room and it was excellent. Absolutely recommendable and we'd come back.

Lovely hotel du charme in the middle of
the island.
Beautiful old house, recently reopened after
extensive renovation, citrus garden in front, nice
library upstairs.
Room was cozy, clean and well organised.
Staff helpful and nice, location great.
Outstanding breakfast.
Vilage is lovely to see, also.
I understand it's not a common request, but I
would have loved to have an earlier breakfast.
They started service for us ahead of schedule,
so also that was good.

At few places you can feel history and enjoy stylish modernization at the same time. This is such a place. Many things remind of the centuries old history while at the same time straightforward modern woodwork has made it to a comfortabel and beautifully designed hotel. The old library is still there and invites you to sit down with a book or contemplate just being there and let time pass by….

We had a perfect stay for 5 nights at casa Los naranjos. The room is beautiful with a big bathroom in a very old fashioned style with very good decoration. The breakfast and dinner are just amazing. Jose the owner of the hotel has been a perfect advisor for lanzarote tours and has been very gentle.
We warmly recommend this casa !!!

I had the honor of being the hotel's first guest. It is a magical place, extraordinary ambience, attention to detail, excellent cuisine, a chef who takes care of his guests' concerns and much more. A holiday that exceeded all my expectations! Thank you Jose!
