Ocean Freediving Lanzarote - Freediving School & Apnea Center

If you want to freedive on the canarian islands, go to Lanzarote and train with Sergio! Not only is Sergio most likely the most experienced and accomplished freediver on the islands. Training was also a lot of fun. I went pretty much every day. The whole ritual of meeting up in a nice sports centre with pool and coffee shop, then going to the ocean together, diving for an hour or two and then having a drink and a sandwich at the centre was REALLY cool! I had a Great few days free dive training with Sergio, I had already done my level 1 free-diving , but didn't have time time to complete my level 2 & Sergio brought me out for 2 training sessions just 2 mins from his centre , this was perfect for me on this trip , I learnt a lot & would highly recommend Sergio!

Sergio is an amazing freediving coach! I learned some much from him in the 2 weeks I spent in Lanzarote. I wish I was learning from him when I started freediving, I discovered so many mistakes I was making in the past. If you want to learn a lot and be surrounded with good energy when you dive, train here!

Great freediving school and training center. As experienced freediver I took some training sessions with Sergio. He is a very relaxed and experienced freediving instructor, giving me many hints for my personal improvement. Good facilities to be used in Fariones Sporting Centre. Very good diving conditions with depths up to 100m+ directly accessible from coast. The trip to Museo Atlantico with Sergio is highly recommended!

Great freediving experience with Sergio at Ocean Freediving !!! Meeting point for each session is an sport centre so after the session you can enjoy swimming, gym, restaurant and any other services of the centre. After you put your neoprene suit on the entry point to the sea is just 10min walking distance. Sergio is a very experienced freediver with plenty of competition exposure and you will benefit from his advice during the session.

Very good experience. Staff high level professional and friendly. The freediving conditions are one of the best in Europe (calm zone, very good visibility, no current...).
On top of that with Sergio I had Equalization courses which helped me to understand my mistakes and provided me the right exercises to solve them. Free access to all Fariones center facilities (swimming pool, gym,jacuzzi, sauna...) is a great gift to feel relax and enjoy Holliday. Thank you Ocean Freediving Lanzarote and see you soon 😊

I spent 10 days in September 2021 in Lanzarote to take again some sessions at Ocean Freediving Lanzarote for the second time after October 2019. This time I focused mainly on improving my Frenzel technique. As I knew that Sergio Soria is an expert in equalisation techniques, it was clear to me from the beginning to train with him again. What I really liked, apart from his outstanding professional qualities, was that the meeting point for the sessions is in the sports centre Fariones with a bar/café and a swimming pool to use before or after the freedive sessions. The centre is only some minutes away from the freediving site. All in all I spent again some wonderful freediving holidays in Puerto del Carmen/Lanzarote with Ocean Freediving Lanzarote.

A friend of mine suggested to contact Sergio for training while on vacation and....it turned out to be absolutely the perfect choice!! Not only Lanzarote is a pleasant discover to me with so many things to do and see but freediving with Sergio was really worth the while! nice facilities, easy-to-reach diving spot, perfect water temperature (24C) and Sergio very professional under every point of view: technique, safety protocols, empathy and right attitude. Warm and friendly with the other team mates! I could not ask for more!

I have spent the training time with Sergio. I have reached my personal goals. I appreciate his deep equalization knowledge and his safety within my deep dives. He is simply always on the right place in the deep.

Great freediving experience! Sergio and all the staff are very careful and well organized. Very deep diving spots can be found close to the shore...So all in all a very relaxing and beautiful training!

来加纳利群岛旅行的话，一定不要错过兰萨罗特岛，来兰萨罗特岛的话呢，当然一定要体验跟Sergio学习自由潜水！我在圣诞假期来度假，跟Sergio 每天的训练变成了我挑战自我和认识自我旅途上的新痴迷。从一开始总是卡在2-3米深，无法平衡耳压，到可以潜至20米，25米，30米，而且泳池静态憋气接近5分钟，每一点进步都有Sergio在水面看着我下潜，在我最后的10米做我的安全员（守护天使），跟他训练可以完全感觉安全无忧。
Sergio 对平衡耳压的技术很有研究，也被大家叫做耳压平衡天王（哈哈，听起来像是日本漫画人物），而且他会针对每个人的不同水平和经验传授不同的技巧和训练方法。
训练结束，跟同期训练的来自世界各地的潜水爱好者们一起在Fariones light house cafe 喝杯啤酒，庆祝 PB (personal best- 个人最好成绩），也是最好不过的放松和交友方式。每次训练都让我很开心，可以忘记所有的烦恼和压力。
兰萨罗特岛一年四季天气都很好，冬季水温也在18-20度之间，穿5mm的自由潜水服也不会觉得冷，所以想学习自由潜水的话，什么时候来都可以，Sergio也是近乎每天都会出海。不出海的时候也可以在Fariones centro deportivo 做泳池的训练，还可以用场地的各种设施，训练完洗澡等的都很方便。
差点忘了，Sergio 也真是一个既卡爱又奇葩的人物，自己来认识他吧！

Ho fatto il corso di livello 1 con sergio soria...una esperienza super.abbiamo cominciato con la respirazione fuori dall acqua,il rilassamento, poi abbiamo fatto apnea statica e poi siamo amdati alla boa in mare!!ho gia prenotato il livello 2.fantastico grazie 1000 ragazzi.

Fantastico! Sergio è un ottimo insegnante, che mi ha dato indicazioni importanti per migliorare. Ho poca esperienza in mare, e con lui mi sono sempre sentito sicuro e un passo alla volta ho migliorato molto la mia prestazione, ma soprattutto messo a fuoco le cose più importanti. Comunicazione, didattica, serietà, affidabilità e competenza ai massimi livelli, non vedo l'ora di tornare!
