Wow! The friendly game store probably has the biggest collection I've seen so far. Upstairs new and German games, English games downstairs. In alphabetical order 🤩.

Very nice shop with a huge variety of board games. Gabriel was very nice and knowledgable, and fluent in English. Their Magic selection is on the smaller side but still good. Highly recommend.

I visited Brave New World some weeks ago, when being in Cologne for business. I have found a fantastic shop, full of great games (also some not so easy to find, GMT war games for example) and a nice and very helpful staff.
A must visit if you are in Cologne and like board games!

Super friendly staff
Found games that I couldn't find in any other store.
Awesome! I wish we had a store like this in Tokyo.

The perfect store for board games! Not only do they have a HUGE selection of all kinds of games, but they also have a whole section dedicated to English games, which is not much smaller than the German section! Some of the hot and new games are also set up for display, and there is also an extra room for tabletop rulebooks, miniatures, etc..
The prices for all the games are absolutely fair (the english ones too), and the staff is nice and helpful if you have questions. You can tell the owner has a passion for this hobby, and it reflects in the atmosphere.

Every time I visit Brave New World, I don't leave without a game! Or two...

If you are looking for board games in Köln, this place should be your #1 stop. Huge selection of board games, both in German as well as in English. Special display racks for some of the more popular board game series, all others sorted alphabetically. Friendly staff who are passionate about gaming and very helpful.

Fantastic shop with HUGE diverse stock and friendly expert staff.
We discovered this shop on our last visit to Cologne which turned out to be a great surprise.
The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. They helped us with boardgames and miniature painting.
The shop is much larger than it looks from the front with 3 stories and multiple back rooms all filled to the ceiling.
The stock they had was very impressive, all quality stuff, old, brand new, eclectic, boardgames, cardgames, miniatures, ... you name it.
Will definitely be stopping by again on our next visit to Cologne.

Hands down one of the best game stores I've visited in all my travels. They have board games, role-playing games, toys, miniatures, and memorabilia. They carry both English and German language items. The variety and extensiveness is unbelievable. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and spoke excellent English. In addition, unlike many places, they accepted credit cards (my debit MasterCard worked anyway). I could browse there forever -- I didn't want to leave the store!

I personally think that the atmosphere inside is great, very homey and relaxed. Every single Person is individually guided through the vast selection of articles and treated like a human and not just a consumer. Before the pandemic you could even do tabletop sessions or play board games in general in the store itself, which will hopefully be made available again after the pandemic. You can easily reach the store via telephone and can make orders to your doorstep or to the store for pickup. As a finishing note: the store is situated just about six minutes away from Cologne Central Station so you can easily and quickly reach it.

Incredible passion and knowledge for all types of games. Has an impressive array of items, some new some old. Was an adventure just looking around the place.

Was a good shop to buy dice and pathfinder items. They also do English games!

Went here to find some English TTRPGS / p&p Games. Completely overjoyed with the sheer amount of lesser known titles that can be found here, even stuff that can be hard to acquire online here in Germany. Left with a reasonably priced copy of torchbearer and the accompanying playing cards. Definitely would recommend checking this place out.

While this is the only game shop I have visited in Cologne, the selection was excellent and the staff friendly. There were quite a few games in English including some older out of print titles. If you are into boardgames do not miss the downstairs. Very much with the visit.

By far my favourite local game store in Cologne. Cosy place, friendly people – and bonus points for their huge selection of English-language tabletop games!

So, this is my first review for a place, hope that’s a statement of sort on its’ own. If I were to put this place in a single sentence, this store is THE place to shop for games. Staff here are so nice that I start to doublt their nationality, just to claim that the previous sentence were not a remark on Germans being stone faced machines, you won’t encounter any problems using English there. Also, staff here are all gamers that has no problem helping me out with random a** questions what so ever, one among which could hold a candle to any miniature painter in the world I might add.

The collection here is, vast. If you were to kill a few hours/days, and just dig into their caves, there are rare games such as rogue trooper board game from GW gathering dust in some corner(think it’s still there). If you’re after games that just came out, it’s in the center of their room. If you’re a GW guy or basically any miniature game, they’ve got them, with a contact book of local gamers who are into the same games.

The price here range from fair to I’ll snatch it now, or I’ll starve for 3 days(poor student). I’ve been there for more than 10 times and each took more than an hour of commute by train, never had a bad experience.

Couldn’t recommend them highly enough. In a sentence, Pocket your phone and go already.

Finally there is some new management and huuuuge improvements to what the store was before. It doesn’t feel cluttered anymore, nice and open and the staff seems more attentive as I remembered them.
