Fantastic small Italian restaurant! The owner and the waitress were very nice and advised us on dishes that could be made vegan by swapping the type of pastas. The aperols and limocello sprittzer were top 👌🏻 and the mood was perfect for a girls night dinner.
The restaurant itself is small and filled with guests so you will most likely sit close to other guests but this just fits the mood of such place. Probably best to call and book since the place was full and people kept coming during the evening 😊
There is also a small sheltered terasse by the entrance.
I highly recommend to try their pastas, we had the aspargus pasta, the mushrooms pastas and the artichoke pasta. There is automatic apetizers when you order a main dish, and those were very good too.

Came here by recommendation of a local and I was definitely not disappointed. The handmade pasta is delicious and made by the restaurant. The dishes are traditional and the restaurant is cozy.

Be sure to make a booking before if it’s for dinner on a weekend. And even then, be ready to share table with others.

My only not so positive comment is that they do not take phone calls during dinner time (totally understandable) but the telephone kept ringing every 5 minutes and we were sitting next to it

authentic italian cooking. A bit on the pricier side, but we’ll worth it. Massimo offers pasta that aren’t the usual Spaghetti, Penne, Tagliatelle etc. The restaurant ist very packed and small. Worst thing is the way to and the bathroom itself. But it’s definitely an adventure

Loved the food, very fresh and homemade. Great prices and good service. Open for lunch and dinner, if going for dinner I would make a reservation. The restaurant is small and cozy with some tables out front.

Top Rosticceria in Cologne. Rosticceria Massimo is finest Italian food. Soup or salad included. Main dishes: original Italian cuisine. Pizza, Pasta, Scaloppine, Insalata etc. Drink white or red wine. The interior seating is very unique: All at one table.

You always get an apetizer for free for each dish. Pasta was cooked immaculate al dente! Seafood was quite fresh as well. The place is a bit tight though. Pricing is decent

One of the best Italian restaurants outside of Italy I have been in. Always full, always hard to get a table but always worth the visit.

If you want with your authentic Italian food in a cheap noisy location, like it's supposed to be, actually..... this is the place to go, it's no place to take a date, no place to have a quiet conversation, it's a great place to get really really really fat!
