Beautiful cemetery in the middle of Cologne! Easy to get to from the city center via street car (#1 or #7). My husband wanted to see the cemetery and its most famous monument, the grim reaper, after seeing a documentary about Melaten. We asked a few cemetery visitors how to locate the statue and they were helpful.

Really beautiful cemetery with a lot of history to see. You can easily stroll around for a hour and look at all the different graves.

The vibe is not like a cemetery, but a place to feel calm. A lot of artistic statue here

"Institution" in Köln

Super interessanter Friedhof, hier kann man stundenlang spazieren und bummeln und die meist übergroßen und bombastischen Grabsteine bestaunen. Der Friedhof ist übersichtlich angeordnet, in der Mitte eine Insel mit Wiese. Schön ruhig man entdeckt immer wieder was neues. Toiletten sind auch vorhanden.

Sind einen sehr weiten Weg gefahren um uns diesen sehr schönen sehr großen und sehr Interessanten und sehr Alten Friedhof anzuschauen. Ein großes Begründes Areal. Hier liegen auch einige sehr bekannte Prominente Personen. Schön zum Bummeln, Ruhe,Natur schön um Tiere zu beobachten, und um Bilder zu machen.

Hat auch sitz Möglichkeiten. Nur nicht oft ,da die meisten von den Angehörigen zum eigentum gehören. Aber man kann viele prominente und auch viele andere grabstätten sehen. Die noch von 1800 sind . Ein besuch wert . Der friedhof bietet auch Führungen , an .
Toiletten sind auch vorhanden.

Ein beeindruckendes Erlebnis, wenn man den erfahrenen Führern von Stadtgeflüster zuhören kann. Danach kann man noch erholsam Bummeln. Am Sonntag gibt es auch kostenlose Parkplätze in der Piusstrasse💓

Ein beschaulicher Ort inmitten des Trubels der Großstadt....einfach mal nur spazieren und dem Gezwitscher der Vögel lauschen oder den zahlreichen, fast zutraulichen Eichhörnchen beim sammeln der Nüsse zuschauen.
Zahlreiche Gräber von Prominenten, die sich per Navi auch recht zuverlässig finden lassen.
