Stellar experience! What a lovely, cozy coffee shop. Great location near one of the old city gates. Warm and friendly folks run the shop. They offer some unique baked goods and I cannot recommend enough the pistachio cream filled croissant. Wow. This place has great reviews for a reason.

MPOV (Mompointofview) We have had a fantastic experience at that café. We went on the second Christmas Day and the whole atmosphere was so calm and cozy. We have been kindly greeted by the owner and had a great coffee. Also they don't have a changing table, it's so family friendly. The seating areas are perfect for kids and toddlers and one feel that kids are welcome. Also they sell Babychino. Which is warm milk with some chocolate powder on top. Even though we didn't try the cakes but a croissant instead, the cake menu did sound so yummy Would love to visit again <3

At first I was skeptical when I saw the small menu, but the paninis and croissants are very good! The vanilla croissant is unlike anything I have previously had. Very cute little cafe with nice owners and a nice location by one of the old city gates. So yes, the menu is short, but everything is made with quality and care in mind; absolutely worth it.

Definitely will come back next time I am in Köln!

Cozy coffee place with nice food and perfect coffee, I ordered a panini and cappuccino and it was really nice.
The place has lots of Maradona pictures and as a huge football fan I really loved the atmosphere.

We were in the area and visited this place by accident. What a pleasant surprise it was! Cozy atmosphere, great coffee, real Italian coffee and the paninis (Italian sandwiches) were very tasty. The owner is Italian so he knows what he is doing. Highly recommended

This is the perfect spot for a morning coffee and a light bite for breakfast in Cologne. The location is one of the draws, with it being positioned on an idyllic square surrounding one of Cologne's medieval gates. There is limited seating inside, but plenty more outside.

This is the platonic ideal of a coffee shop. Cute and cozy with great coffee and delicious cakes, pastries, and sandwiches. I can't even describe how nice everyone there was and the overall level of service.

The food and coffee is amazing but the service is even better. We enjoyed a great brunch during our trip to Cologne and we will be back in the future. Congratulations for such a lovely place and thank you for treating us so well!

I loved this little cafe today as we stopped for coffee, and some sandwiches.
The service was kind and ready to accommodate our needs - including preparing something off menu for my dietary restrictions. I will definitely return.

Excellent coffee spot that has lovely light breakfast options. Staff is so kind and attentive. Pretty tables outside with view on the old Tor and the platz. A definite recommendation if you’re in Köln.

Lovely spot next to the medieval city gate. Incredible desserts (we had the stuffed pistachio cream croissant and a simple cheesecake) plus good coffee (tiny espresso and a café latte). Service from the bald middle-aged man was very friendly (he tried to speak out languages). Wishing this café many more years of success!

Lovely woman working at the coffee shop. Very friendly. Had to order another Chai Latte, best i’ve had for a very very long time!
