GALERIA Hamburg Mönckebergstraße

Massive store they sell everything, absolutely great, Germans must still shop the old fashioned way rather than online as they have loads of these department stores. Really.miss Debenhams and BHS.

You can find everything, especialy chocolate, it is located ın every German city, it is a very nice departmant store

Can't beat Galeria department stores! This one has an awesome sweets department, where you can find really lovely fresh pralines, but also regional specialities and hard to find favourites, such as Bâtons Kirsch by Lindt.

I love it. There is a bit of everything and people working there are very kind and take care of customers. They also added in the last months little bar in the"bags area" that I think it is a good idea

The greatest Karstadt ever. The best choice I have ever seen in a department store. You can literally find any kind of product for middle range prices here. Discounts are available regularly on the usual sales dates, but if you really want some particular product quality and choice, you have to pay the full price.

The place has all variety for shopping. You can find multiple brands under one roof. The membership cards holds extra value. I like shop there and the shopping experience and service is nice.

Excellent place for those who hates shopping but needs to do some shopping ;). Compact, fast, efficient.

Karstadt is a large multi floor classy department store close to the main train station. We visited twice on consecutive days for coffee and tea as well as something to eat. The cheesecake they serve is of very high quality. The staff we interacted with find English difficult but they are very helpful. The store reminded je of Woolworth's back home.

Karstadt is a very big shopping complex. They have all type of items across 4 shopping floors like one floor for clothes, one floor for household things and utensils, one section for travel bags, purses and travel accessories, one floor for perfumes and makeup sections. It has products from almost all known brands. Good to go during sale period.

It is one of the last of its kind. Cool atmosphere. I like it a lot as these stores are disappearing due to the Internet. However some people might say it is just a store where you can buy several things.

It also has a restaurant, hair dresser and a toilet inside.

If you're going to go to a department store I suppose this is the one to go to.

And, I guess everybody else thinks that too. I have a hard time with very crowded places, so I don't go very often but when I want a good product I do go there..AND it's practically next door to my favourite coffee place (Espresso House). Yayyy.
