CinemaxX Hamburg-Dammtor

Had a great experience there, even though it is a bit on the expensive side there are promos often and you can get a good deal. Popcorn was good drink was awesome, staff friendly, movie was sht. 5/7 perfect score.

My favorite kino in Hamburg ♥ always so easy to get tickets online and even the food.

We had a great time here. Movies in original voice are sometimes available. Booking vip seats is recommended. The popcorn is really good too - a big bucket of mixed sweet and salty popcorn kept me happy throughout the whole experience.

I really like this cinema in Hamburg! A lot of space friendly staff and great movies! Just watched Avatar 2 the way of water ! Was such an amazing movie!

Very friendly Staff, good audio and video quality. The VIP seats are very comfortable, though I'd prefer there was a mechanism to lock the seat in a position so you don't need to put too much pressure on the backrest to lean back if you are too light.

I am in this Cinema almost every weekend
And I musst say am totally amazed every time. The workers at selling desk are totally friendly, the one’s checking ur tickets alwys wear a smile on their faces and directing one to which Cinema hall
I just love this place.

I was shocked to only pay €5.99 for the cinema - I haven’t paid such low prices since I was a kid!

Of course, you then make up for it with normal cinema popcorn prices, but it was super tasty. Also as an expat, I appreciated that the salty flavour seemed to also have a butter taste! I’m always missing that in Germany, where the taste is rather towards sweet popcorn, and when you are lucky enough to find salty, it’s usually with JUST salt! So that was a happy surprise ☺

Besides my visit being ruined by a loud child behind me, it was overall a good experience - will be back!

Good and neat theatre experience !! I felt the volume is low compared to others !!

Visited on a Friday for an Indian film (83) that was played in Screen 6 - basement level. Movie started almost ontime , that is, no commercials were played. Audio effects were decent. Was a smaller room with smaller screen. Comfortable seating, neat toilets. The snack counters at this floor was not open for some reason, had to buy things from the next floor. Will update after next experience.

Nice cinema with good location and massive popcorn

It was amazing, tickets are affordable, pop corn is super tasty, and the sound was amazing. There was just a thing with the chairs selection. The "love chairs" are misplaced on their website.

The Movie Theater has great picture and sound quality and even an IMAX one,. Snacks are provided and fair for a Movie Theater. They are also handling the Covid situation great by leaving seats in-between reservations and rhe need for either a vaccination, recovery or a valid test, which mad me feel veey secure while watching. For many movies there will also be showings in englisch, albeit in the smaller Rooms. Overall 👍

Screen size is big. Dolby digital 7.1 Sound quality good.
No interval for Indian movies.
Rates are high 13eur for Indian movies.

The stuffs are very friendly, the price for food is too much inside.

It's better that we can bring our own food from outside.

One of my favourite Cinemas to go to. Very nice seats, deinks are nice and popcorn and snacks are pretty good too. Nothing to complain about.

Comfortable seats in the halls, good cleaning and fair prices

Well it was my 1st time to cinema in Hamburg. It was a huge cinema bigger than cinema what we have in Bali.
Its bit funny for me cuz u have to choose an English movie to watch or otherwise u will watch black panther in deutchs where we don't change the language but we put subtitles ... Well my experienced was good here. I like it but to all guests who bought giant popcorns always left their rubbish on the floor and pretty messy. I thought littering is prohibited in Germany but as i saw they didn't care about who will clean it or theyre theyre thinking there will be someone who will clean my mess. If possible we keep it clean together

As always great. Good staff and nice groove! Sad we were sitting in 1st row but the place really made it enjoyable even when handicapped like that!

Great price now with the reopening. Good value for your price. Everything you expect from a cinema, nothing to complain about.
