Casa Factoria

Extremely pleased and thankful to be staying at Casa Factoria! Hosts were amazing and hospitable! Most importantly, location is good and ideal, breakfast is made with love and it feels really safe and truly enjoyed it. Will recommend for anyone finding a place in Cuba !

Dailen and Santiago were very accommodating and friendly. The room is basic but perfect for two and is very reasonably priced. The roof terrace is a nice spot to sit and relax in the evening. It is slightly out of old Havana but it is a manageable 10-15 minute walk. The location is great for people who would rather avoid all of the tourists and have the option to visit the tourist areas or spend more time in a more local area. Breakfast can be provided for a small fee (5CUC) but is plentiful. I would stay here again.

Dailen, her mother and her husband, Santiago were excellent hosts. The room was very clean, the shower was hot, the bed was comfortable. The location was excellent, close to the Capitol, walking distance to Old Havana, bicycle taxis on the corner for 5cuc to most of the places we wanted to go. The street they are located on is not touristy, filled with many modest family homes; we felt very safe walking around at night even on dark streets. The breakfast on the roof for 5cuc was very convenient. Every day we were brought coffee or tea, a pitcher of fresh juice (guava or pineapple), a plate of fresh cut fruit, a basket of bread, an egg and a breakfast meat like some bacon. They always accommodated our schedule with an early or late breakfast as needed. There was a safe in the room which we probably did not need to use bc we felt very trusting of everyone, but we used it for our cash given the US dollars we brought was the only money we had access to (no US ATM or Credit Cards work in Cuba). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this Casa Particulares to anyone looking to save money and interact with a local family. We chose to bring US goods with us for the Cuban people, toiletries, medicines, small toys, spices, chocolate.. everyone we gave goods to was very appreciative as there are often shortages of these items in Cuba and/or they can be expensive.

After traveling nearly entire South America and most of the islands i can say - this was definetily one of the best (if not the best) rented property i have ever stayed in!
The house is very well taken care of, great air conditioning and cleaniness - second to none!
Room was great, well equipped and very comfortable. House itself is very conviniently located from the centre of Havana (Habana vieja), it takes less than 10 minutes to get to the very centre of it by walking.

Probably the best thing about my stay were the hosts! Dailen and Santiago not only provide exceptional service but they live it, they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and taken care of - a true example of "mi casa su casa"
Would return in a heartbeat!

Great place to stay, the owner and her family are really nice and helpful.
Everything is exactly like the pictures, clean and in the city centre.
Good wifi.

My host ,Sandiago, and his wife is very kind nd help us much, room is clean and you can have breakfast at roof terrace ! Location is also excellent. Near the Captalio and in old town.

It was really nice experience to stay - the price also reasonable, clean was tidy, people are friendly and nice, breakfast was awesome! Definitely would stay here again!

Dailen y Santiago nos hicieron sentir como en casa durante nuestra estancia en La Habana. Sin duda, hicieron que nuestra experiencia en la ciudad fuera todavía mejor, gracias a sus consejos y su atención. La ubicación es excelente y recomendamos 100% los desayunos que ofrecen 🥰

Somos una pareja y estuvimos viajando por Cuba con nuestros 3 hijos en junio de 2022.
Estuvimos 4 noches en La Habana, con esta maravillosa familia. Nos alojamos en dos habitaciones muy limpias, con baño en cada habitación y con detalles de hotel 5*. Dailen, Santiago, Vivian y Stefano fueron tan encantadores, cariñosos y amables con nuestros hijos y con nosotros que seguimos recordándolos a menudo. Nos ayudaron con todo. Puedo decir que fue una estancia perfecta: limpieza, atención, comida, ubicación al lado del Capitolio, conversación animada,... Sin dudarlo, volvería a su casa. Una estancia INOLVIDABLE Y EXCEPCIONAL.

Dailen et Santiago sont adorables, la maman est aux fourneaux.
La casa est proche du Capitole, légèrement plus loin de tous les bars et commerces, ce que nous cherchions.
L'accueil est soigné, la terrasse est agréable et les hôtes très prévenants.
Un réel plaisir !

Hace una semana mi mamá y yo estuvimos de residentes aquí, y para mí ha sido la vez que mejor he estado de residente un una casa y no en un hotel.
Lo mejor fue el trato que ellos te dan y siempre que lo necesitas tienes su ayuda con mucho gusto. Tienen servicio de desayuno que por solo 5€ te incluye mucha comida y diferentes tipos de frutas.
Para mi es la casa perfecta para volver con gusto.
