Hostal del Buen Viaje

Very authentic old Havana Hostal, location is a plus, rooms are very clean, comfortable and new. Staff was beyond their limits to help us find good places and enjoy authentic Cuban experiences. Wi-Fi was decent for Cuba and the Breakfast was the highlight : everything was local organic products, supporting other entrepreneurs of the area. We definitely recommend it and we will be back for sure.

Wir hatten drei wunderschöne Tage (14.bis 16. Februar) in Havanna und im Hostel del Buen Viaje. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und man kann alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in Old Havanna zu Fuß erreichen. Das gesamte Team des Hotels ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bei unserem nächsten Kuba Urlaub auf jeden Fall wieder. Das Frühstück war ein Highlight! Vielen Dank an Carlos, Neuer und Sofia und das gesamte Team! Nächstes Mal bringen wir wieder Schokolade mit :-)

Ubicación excelente, muy buen desayuno con fruta fresca, zumos a elegir, mantequilla casera, huevos al gusto. Personal encantador y profesionales. El único punto negativo, la WiFi no funcionó durante las 3 noches que estuvimos. Quitando esto, sitio recomendable, sin duda para repetir.

Un sitio muy agradable y cómodo para dormir. Habitaciones limpias, con bastante espacio y todo muy nuevo. Muy buena ubicación justo en el pleno centro de La Habana, la atención fue muy buena, la gente que trabaja en el hotel toda muy comprometida por mejorar al máximo tu experiencia en el hotel recomendándote los mejores sitios de la zona. Desayunos increíbles!!! La mejor forma de vivir una experiencia diferente, estar en un sitio cómodo y poder descansar perfectamente. Lo recomiendo 100%, volveré!!!

Nuova, curata, pulitissima, due split per l'aria condizionata, in questo palazzo coloniale ristrutturato davvero meraviglioso, personale professionale, gentile, attento ad ogni vostra esigenza, come essere in famiglia.
Colazione abbondante, ricca di frutta locale, frittate, e qualsiasi ben di dio.
Sicuramente ogni volta che passerò per l'havana tornerò a soggiornare qui.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Buen Viaje. Die Lage ist zentral. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden es definitiv weiterempfehlen.

This is right in the middle of old Havanna and near to many bars and the Capitol. Otherwise surrounding areas very dirty and although we didn't feel unsafe, one evening the receptionist was slumped over the desk asleep, with some guy sitting on the doorstep. Very strange. The hotel stairwell with the hanging plants, very pretty. The rooms, however, are dark and dingy with an unpleasant musty, chemical smell.
On Friday mornings at 6am, you will be woken by loud music from the school next door! This was known to reception.
The breakfast was OK, eggs on request, fruit, toast and weak coffee.
I do not recommend staying here and would never stay again
