The name of the store is Harris Brothers not Harry's Brother as indicated on Google maps. Just a basic Cuban store. Cerveza is 1 CUC and always cold. Buy one to sit out front and drink it.

Muy bueno el mercado con variadas ofertas y precios más económicos comparado con otras tiendas .

Visited many times to by water / bewerages. Beware of "helpful" shopping assistants, that only want to help you shop for just fun of it, but at the end asks you to by little something for he/his children also. Ended up to buy one over priced milk powder bag, instead of 10 bags that suddenly appeared to counter for me to pay.

my tour guide told me this was the best 'supermarket' around ...... if youre from the west this place is really good for getting cold water and bits but its not what youd call a supermarket! My biggest tip is there are a bunch of guys offering help outside the stores dont take it they dont work here they are scamming you for money.

Purtroppo i prodotti sono pochi, si fa la fila per ore e i prezzi sono alti..si paga con la carta e all’ingresso ti viene trattenuto lo zaino, il personale è di una lentezza disarmante e poco friendly sicuramente..

We understand that it’s hard to get food but as a tourist I would not recommend to go here. Rather go into restaurants and eat snacks on the go. Important: you have to queue for a long time, you can’t take a bag with you (they’ll take it from you) you have to pay by credit card and show your ID! So far so ok but it’s just not worth (for tourists) you can’t buy fruit here (the only thing we got and was available were apples) you can only buy things in cans and really nothing you need as a tourist. We really feel bad for the people here that it’s not easy for them to buy anything so as a tourist we really recommend to skip the experience of buying sth in the supermarket. I feel bad to only give 2 stars but I don’t want people to think it’s worth going here when it’s not. You can’t even buy water (at least when we were there)

Do not go here!! Do not let any of the locals “help” you buy things. Got scammed paying 15 times the correct price

Deprorable experiencia.un maltrato total. En el área perteneciente al mercado tienen cajas registradoras inabilitadas como la del sitio donde ofrecen 5 tipos d especies y un tipo d te ( rojo) . La misma q exsolto a q aprovechen mejor en el mercado . Pues no creo q recaude lo suficiente como para justicar el gasto energético q consume la misma . Donde me condicionaron desde mi llegada al local a la 5 pm afirmando q a la 6 . Cerraban las puertas. Para continuar el maltrato y después d la 5 40 la jefa d piso dio la orden al encargado d controlar el flujo de los clientes no q entrará dando tiempo a q llegara el horario del cierre . Mientras tanto la cola los clientes aguardaban y los trabajadores del mercado contaban las góndolas con libretas .
Me pregunto si a caso el objeto social d esta tienda no es recaudación d mlc ? .por q dilatar el sevicio maltratar a los clientes y dejar de recaudar dinero . El mercado cuenta con siete trabajadoras para mí criterio sin contenido d trabajo . Si la inmensa mayoría de los clientes estaban para comprar manzanas a 75 centavos cada una por qué no agilizar el proceso. Y avilitar más de una caja para la venta de las misma. Todo esto sucediendo con total conocimiento de la jefa de piso y el gerente qué hizo su entrada a la institución a la 5:30pm. Cuando me dirigí a la jefa de piso. Preguntando el porqué de tanto maltrato. Respondió que lo que estaba sucediendo era de total conocimiento del gerente
Terminaron expulsando a todos los clientes . Entre los cuales me encontraban.

Impossible d'y faire des courses pour un étranger

Tienen un cartel en la puerta que indica que el horario de apertura es a las 9 am. Si preguntas te dicen que es a las 10. De hecho, y x suerte abrieron a las 9.15 am. Lo mas llamativo es que en el horario de apertura, no abre la tienda completa, electrodomésticos a las 10, según refieren, guarda bolsos no se sabe, la parte antes del mercado, donde se esta la gelatina, caramelos, natilla, etc, tampoco se sabe a que hora abre. Por dios, así nunca mejorarán los servicios en Cuba.

Mi esposa fue a comprar en dias pasado Leche condensada y Perritos ,cuando entro ya se habia acabado,hoy dia 7 de Junio fue pues hay los dos productos que necesitamos para los niños ,se levanto a las 4:45am pues a las 5:00 am recojen los carnet,el oficial que estaba en la puerta no la dejo pasar por que ella habia entrado y comprado Aseo que fue lo que alcanso la primera vez,ella le explico pero el le dijo que eso no era por lo que comprara ,sino que deberia esperar los siete dias para volver a entrar.Deberia preocuparse esta persona y los que dirijen este centro ,por los revendedores que hay todos los dias en ese lugar,despues hay que pagar el triple para comprar estos productos.
