Wow. What a horrible and unfriendly place. Our only bad experience in Cuba. The owner saw us taking photos outside (not inside the store) on the street of his fruit stand, and got angry demanded 5 dollars for the photo, as only customers can take photos. So we played along and bought a pineapple from him at his insistance (for $5, yes we know it's overpriced), and then he demanded that we needed to buy another one for our photo, and continued to yell and scream at us. Really? Wow. One of the friendly locals watching told us after the commotion that he does this to visitors regularly - it's his "thing", so don't feel too bad about it. So beware and avoid! Pretty much every other Cuban in this country has been friendly and helpful, so don't blame it on Cuba - but this store owner is one horrible person that you don't want to meet or deal with.
