This is a great little market. Probably your go to spot for a quick shop in Potrero. If you’re in Flamingo, the Super Massai market is nearly identical in selection and a bit closer but both are great. The staff is helpful and they have a good selection of the essentials.

This is a great grocery store in Potrero with a lot of options and at conditioning to keep food fresh. I was able to purchase a variety of things like vegan options, swimwear, and more. It was the best grocery option I saw while visiting and I would recommend it.

MerKdo is our go-to market in Protrero. Items are moderately priced for the area. They always have fresh fruits and veggies and the employees are always friendly and available to answer questions. They also stock many brand-name items from the US.

Really good selection of alcoholic beverages and groceries. Many specialty items you wouldn't normally find in a mini-store like this. High prices but it's a tourist area.

MerKdo is a great small supermarket, but be prepared for the prices. If you're looking for American Staples they're here, but at Whole Paycheck prices. The store is clean, well-organized with friendly and helpful staff. You can get fresh vegetables and just about any ingredient for a "taste of America" meal, including a pretty dang good selection of liquor. The only thing missing is fresh meats

They have just about everything you need from a tourist to a native. From grocery items, to liquor to toiletries, they have it ALL. The cashier is the sweetest man and he gives you the price in colon as well as USD. We also got a lot of items and he placed them in a box for us which was better for my sisters and I as opposed to shopping bags.

Great wine and liquor selection. One of the best within 45 minutes. Beer selection is normal. Also they have food groceries - I'm told.

Very nice place to go to buy a large grocery. The personnel is awesome especially the cashier who helped me with our driver over the phone who spoke way too fast!!!! But...we are in his country and it's also up to us to have a better understanding of the too language!!!😁 We'll go back for sure!!!

This small market has a better selection than the other Mercado’s in the area. Everything from real vanilla to real butter to broom handles, they have it all. Look here before making the trip to Huacas or Walmart.

I love this store, its clean, air conditioned, and it's amazing what you can find there. They have a great selection for Potrero. Always friendly service too.

Great shop for a wide selection - stopped in to pick up some last minute chocolate and found several different varieties as well as Costa Rican vanilla and other hard to find items.

A walk down the beach and you will all the essentials. Liquor, food, souvenirs, many, many more.

The guys offer a big hello and quick service every time we visit thier store. They are our 'go to' here in Potrero.
