Our sailing experience with Jeffrey, Johnathan and Christopher was one of the best parts of our trip! Our extended family booked the sunset trip on New Year’s Eve and it was absolutely magical! Beautiful scenery, snorkeling, delicious drinks and food. The captain and crew were knowledgeable and friendly and we had the best time with them! We highly recommend sailing with Serendipity and we will absolutely book again with them, the next time we visit.

I booked a private sunset charter, and the experience was AMAZING!! Our sail was captained by Bismark and his secondhand Jonathan! They were very friendly and knowledgeable of the seas and boat. They were so welcoming and open to answering any questions we had! Jonathan was our snorkeling guide, and he was very calm and helpful with identifying sea creatures and the best areas to view them from. They provided delicious drinks from the open bar, great music, positive energy, and delicious cowboy caviar and chicken tacos. This was an awesome experience, we felt at home with this amazing crew, and were witness to a beautiful sunset to end the whole experience with. I couldn’t have asked for a better crew or company to live out this experience with!! If you’re looking for a private sunset charter, search no further, as Serendipity Charters is thee BEST option to choose!!

We sailed the Lucky 13 yesterday on Serendipity and it was amazing! The crew are friendly and attentive.They reef the sails when necessary to allow for a comfortable sale for all onboard.We had a beautiful sail for about two hours then anchored in a bay and you could snorkel or swim .they provided snorkel gear,life jackets or noodles if you wanted them .they provided any kind of drink desired ,snacks and chicken tacos,which were delicious.then we headed back and once the wind was favourable up went the sails again and full this time so we tacked back and forth till the sun went down.was definitely the highlight of our trip so far…spotted dolphins and a couple of whales. Thanks gentlemen for a wonderful afternoon!

Such an amazing experience. The scenery was out of this world. Crew was great. Very attentive and guided us through snorkeling. We saw an octopus, sea cucumbers and amazing fish. Food and drinks on board were delicious. So much fun. Would highly recommend.

What a wonderful adventure we had for our afternoon of sailing. Bismarck and Jeffrey provided a full experience of drink, food, snorkeling and an incredible time on the sea. We couldn’t be more grateful for their warm welcome and complete customer service. The communication from the office to adjust our day for better weather was so appreciated. loved the experience on serendipity charters. took the boat from flamingo marina. it was a group of around 16-18 people and we had a blast! the staff on the boat was extremely attentive and friendly and took good care throughout our ride, making sure that everyone was well fed and had their preferred choice of drinks. we docked at the love island where we snorkeled, swam and chilled on the lily pad. saw the most gorgeous sunset on our way back through las catalinas. the lunch and snacks were flavorful and filling. time just flew by. it’s a smaller and well maintained boat which gives you a personalized experience. would highly recommend them for your sailing adventure in CR!

I cannot recommend Serendipity highly enough!! It was a fabulous day! Six of us booked an all day private charter. Jonathan was our captain and Gerald was his mate. We loved them. They anticipated our every need and were so gracious, fun, and friendly! The sailboat was a 50 ft well-appointed monohull. The food and drink were wonderful and the snorkeling was great as well. I will be back!

Rented kayak as we were staying close by. They were so kind and it was a beautiful spot that we wanted to go back to as I heard sunset there is amazing. I’d love to go back and do a fishing excursion next!

Fantastic must do! Low number of passengers, 55' monohull. Semiprivate tour but they have private tours too. Highly attentive staff, not a booze cruise. Bismark, Seven and Jonathan will treat you well! I'd do it again.

I booked Serendipity Charters for 6 of my family members after reading the reviews on here and they did not disappoint! Captain Bizmark and his crew, Jonathan and Jeffrie, were great. We went snorkeling, had great chicken tacos and appetizers and the drink service was awesome. The trip was my family's favorite part of our vacation!

I had a lovely sail on this boat last week. The boat was nice, the food and drinks were delicious, the crew were very kind and hospitable and we had an incredible experience. We saw a lot of sea life (whales, turtles, fish) and found a lovely bay to shelter in while we swam and snorkelled around. It's a smaller boat, which is nice because there were only 15 of us, so it made it easy to hang out / spend time with each other. I also love that they start / end at the Marina.

Fantastic! Beautiful boat with a great crew! We sailed to a beach you can’t access by land, we were the only ones there and we got to do some snorkeling. We even held an octopus which was awesome. The sunset was out of this world and they even had a bottle of champagne for us to enjoy and celebrate my husbands birthday. I realized after disembarking that I had left my phone on board. I was freaking out thinking about not having a phone in a foreign country but they were so kind to let me know they had it and I was able to get it back right away! Very professional and just genuinely great people

We had an amazing experience on Serendipity once again. Sailing on a monohull boat is a different experience and this time with enough wind it was spectacular and for real sailing enthusiasts, it's special. It never disappoints and my guests always have the best time so thank you again Brad, Geneva, Captain Bismark and the crew!

Absolutely the best!!! Can’t say enough good things about Brad and his crew- especially Johnathan. Clean boat, plenty of space and very caring to all passengers which has a max of 13 people twice a week. By far one of the best sunset sails we have ever taken. Thank you Brad!

We had the most amazing day with Bismark and Jeffrey!!! They were beyond accomodating, the lunch made on the boat was great! Jeffrey took our daughter snorkeling and they had a blast. We were caught in a storm coming back and it was handled excellently. I would recommend this tour to anyone!!1

Awesome sailboat trip and captains! Would highly recommend. Includes unlimited drinks, snacks and a lunch. We also got to snorkel. The service was excellent and it felt like we had the ocean to ourselves!

My brother and I booked this cruise and it was amazing! The guides were awesome and went out of their way to make sure everything went well. We went snorkeling which was so much fun. We will definitely do it again when we go back to CR.

Booked the sunset cruise for our first sailing experience and we couldn’t be happier. The captain and crew were spectacular and helped make it an unforgettable birthday experience for our friends. The tacos and salsa were insanely good.

The best monohull sailing experience on the coast. We chartered the whole boat for a private afternoon tour and loved it. The captain knows how to really sail and take full advantage of the amazing wind and coastline along this stretch of Costa Rica. The friendly and helpful crew are always ready to refill your drink or serve amazing tacos, fresh fruit, and snacks.

Bismarck snorkelled with our group of 11 sixteen year olds and they got to get close and personal with a baby turtle and puffer fish.

Rather than following the herds of other booze cruises that seem to all congregate together for the afternoon, Serendipity looks for private coves and less traveled beaches to snorkel and explore.
