Hotel Condor Lodge

My friends and I went to the restaurant to grab a drink (we didn’t stay the night at this hotel) and were greeted by lovely staff and a beautiful pool area. The drinks were very refreshing to a reasonable price, but the best part was that we were allowed to use the pool. The view is great and the staff was amazing. They even brought us lemon water to the pool for free!

We had a fantastic time at this awesome Lodge. Had we been able to cancel our other two Air B&B reservations we would have stayed an extra two months. I recommend this place to all my retired Canadian Forces colleagues. Beer is ice cold especially the 6 beer bucket specials, mixed drinks for the ladies during Happy Hour, 3 cooks who know how to do it all. service is excellent, grounds and pool are kept super clean. View is breathtaking and the wildlife keeps you entertained if you are not too busy watching all the sport channels on TSN and ESPN. The wood stove oven pizzas will have you craving pie every day and add inches to your waist line. Half a dozen beaches within walking and short driving distance. You will definitely need a vehicle to get around and explore the whole area. Also a trip into Liberia to load up on groceries is highly recommended as this area (not the Lodge) is very expensive for food in general. I am definitely coming back next year and eating my body weight in Tomahawk Steaks and The Condor Pizza Supreme. The new Ops Manager promised to have pickled eggs and pepperoni sticks on the menu for me and all of my Canadian countrymen who visit this lodge. Also if you drink a fridge full of Imperial Beer the owner might even buy you a Pura Vida fishing shirt lol ! If you want a little bit more action, head into Tamarindo (20 minutes or so) which is like Wasaga Beach on a long weekend. Carry ON !

We absolutely loved staying here for a week. The condo was so nice to return "home" to after a great day at a local beach. Plus, the lodge, the view, and the staff here are wonderful. This is a great place to stay if you really want to experience Guanacaste beaches, food, culture, and nature.

What a hidden gem!! I was thrilled to find this restaurant and cannot recommend it highly enough. The food was excellent, to the extent that we ate several meals here over the course of our visit to Playa Conchal (breakfast, lunch, dinner), and the views are gorgeous unbeatable. The staff is so friendly and accommodating! Can’t wait to come back!

Although we stayed in a condo here during off season and had the entire resort to ourselves, we had a blast! Beautiful ocean views, beach within walking distance, nice pool and restaurant. Victor, the man in charge while we where there was so kind and showed great hospitality. Pura Vida!

Lived there seven years, Great experience! Peaceful, Safe, and the people are great. This is one of the best ocean views I have seen. A short walk to Playa Conchal for swimming or just relaxing. Surfing a short distance at Los Piratis, or snorkeling at Playa Mina, and at night you can see turtles laying there eggs, and the night sky is amazing. There are great ocean view walks in the hills. The perfect place to get some relaxation and un wind from our faced paced world. Just what I needed after many years in business. Kids will not be exposed to the wilds of some of the cities at night. The beaches are usually clean and uninhabited.

La pizza estaba deliciosa, la atención del salonero llamado Ignacio a sido estupenda, muy eficiente, cordial. En las ocaciones que he venido está ha sido muy memorable debido al buen servicio. Lo que no sabía Ignacio es que mi pareja y yo estábamos celebrando nuestro aniversario y gracias al buen servicio hemos disfrutado aun mucho más! Volveremos!

Es nuestra segunda visita a este Hotel y siempre termino con las ganas de volver.
Nuestro condominio, camas y demas espacios del condominio muy limpias y debidamente ubicados.
La vista al Mar es excelente desde los condominios, piscina y restaurante.
Restaurante con excelente comida y razón de costo y porción, su pizza excelente!!!
Servicio de cocteleria con servicio a en la piscina que hace un mejor disfrute de la piscina.
Playas muy cerca del hotel y con oleaje bajo que lo vuelve perfecto para toda la familia, playas como playa Conchal a menos de 3 min en carro

Tienen un restaurante con una vista hermosa y una piscina de 2 metros, hay demasiados mosquitos cuando va atardeciendo, les recomiendo llevar spray para mosquitos, ellos me prestaron el del restaurante super amables!

Muy buena ubicación, se puede llegar fácilmente a a Puerto Viejo y Conchal desde el hotel. La comida muy rica; la atención y el servicio fue muy bueno, en especial de Gustavo, Fernando e Ignacio que siempre nos dieron recomendaciones y apoyaron con lo que necesitamos.

Es un excelente lugar con una vista súper increíble, playas cerca puerto viejo, conchal y brasilito 10 minutos, playa minas y real 20 minutos, el servicio fue excelente en especial de Ignacio, Gustavo y Fernando, y de todo el personal en general, la comida del restaurante super bien y la única desventaja para nosotros fue que estuvimos por 3 noches y no contaban con silla para comer de bebé.
