Lazy Lizard Sailing

Lazy Lizard was a fantastic option for our group's private cruise in Playa Flamingo, Costa Rica! We booked a private catamaran tour for 10, and it was spectacular! Javier, Luis, and Luis Jr. were a fantastic crew making the trip so nice and so much fun. Javier took us snorkeling where he helped us find lots of beautiful sea life, they were very accommodating with getting us set up for paddle boarding and enjoying water activities, and the delicious food and open bar on board were great. We had a chance to see eagle rays gliding out of the water, dolphins jumping, and to watch an incredible sunset to top the day off. Would absolutely recommend Lazy Lizard and this crew for an awesome day on the water!

We had a great experience with Lazy Lizard. There were 3 staffs including the caption. They were friendly and helpful. Whole trip was about 4 hour(~2pm-6pm) plenty of options for drinks(unlimited)
We had options to snorkel,kayak, float near the beach area. Around 4 pm- they gave us lunch. Food wasn’t that great but everyone was hungry at that point. We got lucky with the weather and the most beautiful sunset.

We booked a private sunset catamaran tour for 10. Yesterday was amazing! The crew was fun and thoughtful towards our needs and comfort, the food and drinks were plentiful and delicious, the scenery was beautiful. It was worth going private, made memories even better! We saw fish, dolphins, starfish and the water was fantastic. The hot sauce for tacos is SERIOUSLY spicy, but tasted great!

Spectacular cruise from Playa Flamingo, which is well organized and super pleasant. Everything was better than advertised. The snorkeling was guided and we saw lots of fish, we got showered with fresh water upon our return on the boat. The sailing was smooth and had plenty of shade from the big sails. Lots of food and drinks for every taste. And an amazing service - thanks to all on board.

Definitely one of the highlights of our trip! Everything went absolutely perfect. The crew was amazing, the drinks were refreshing and the food delicious! Thank you all for such a fun day!

We did the sunset cruise and loved it! The crew was so fun and nice, the food was great, and the views are stunning. The conditions weren’t great for snorkeling that day, but everyone really enjoyed hanging out in the water and my husband and I took the kayaks to shore and back. Also saw dolphins and a humpback whale! Very professional crew. Would definitely book with them again!

We went on the sunset catamaran trip last week and it was the highlight of our trip. Worth every dollar. Unlimited food, drinks and fun. The captain and crew were a class act. Highly recommend.

We booked the afternoon sunset cruise from Playa Flamingo. Captain Josue and his crew were fun and very attentive to all passengers. We were able to swim from the boat to a private beach. Lunch was wonderful. Sunset on the water was amazing!

Had so much fun. Recommend it over any other snorkeling trip since it comes with a dinner and alcohol as well as lazy floating mat/stand up paddle board/fishing experience. The catamaran was real nice and crew were friendly. They make good drinks for you too:)

We absolutely loved our time on the Lazy Lizard. The crew, the boat, the food were all wonderful! I would certainly recommend this cruise to anyone!!

Took a Costa Rica Trip with my husband & decided to book a Sunset cruise. It was a bit far from the Riu Palace but the Boat cruise was awesome!! We did get a bit of rain but what do you expect when you visit a Rainforest location (on their rainy season at that)😆 the food was good, drinks were good & the people were extremely nice! We got to see some dolphins, a sea turtle & starfish. Not much fish when we snorkeled though. Overall it was an awesome experience! Very nice boat crew! They kept the music on & the drinks going. Beautiful sunset too🌅

A must! The guides are so friendly and fun. A shuttle picked us up right on time. We took a small boat to the catamaran and had a leisure ride out to a cove for snorkeling. On the way there we saw a sea turtle, and on the way back we saw dolphins. It was amazing! Drinks were available the whole time, and they prepared a great taco dinner.

We went on the sunset snorkeling cruise in May 2021. The crew was awesome! They were funny and made sure we had an amazing time. One of the crew members went snorkeling with us and would dive down and point out different sea life and tell us about them. We even saw dolphins! They also provided food and drinks, which were great. On the way back they played good music. Overall a great time. Highly recommend!

Perfectly organized! The sailing was amazing! Dolphins followed the boat for a long time. That was awesome! The lunch was fresh and tasty. We were so happy to add this tour to our vacation. Suggest the sunset cruise!

My whole family loved our sailing trip with Erick and his crew of the Lazy Lizard! We have been on the much larger catamaran trips, but this one only had 17 of us. It made it feel much more personal and private, which we enjoyed more. My sister family and & mine brought our 7 kids (1 who was celebrating a birthday). All of the crew were so attentive & made sure we had a special experience! On the way out we drop fishing lines and caught fish. Then, the snorkeling was great, we saw so many types of fish in a private cove . They fed us a great lunch of fresh fruit, veggies and sub sandwiches after snorkeling. They made us drinks during the whole trip and had a great soundtrack playing. We saw (up close) sea turtles and whales as we sailed into the sunset! I highly recommend going out for the day with Erik and his crew.! We'd definitely do it again!

Our young family, with kids aged 3 & 5 absolutely LOVED our sunset tour. The crew made sure the drinks were flowing and we had an amazing time. They were so very attentive. They even accommodated my daughters dairy allergy. We saw turtles and dolphins while sailing and a stingray while snorkelling. This was a highlight of our trip. Definitely something I’d do again and recommend. A must for anyone looking for a relaxing and fun afternoon.

We did the tour hosted by Maik to the rain forest, spotting toucans, sloths. Went to the chocolate and coffee tours. In summary, we experience the best service ever. Maik and his driver, Alexander were totally attune to what we wanted to see. We even stopped at Walmart at the way back. We rated them 100%.
