Iguanas Restaurante y Pizzeria

This a pretty little outdoor/ indoor restaurant. Service (Fran) was friendly and English speaking. Food was good! Pizza is very thin crust with a great flavor combination. We also enjoyed fried fish, great fish! We enjoyed our visit. Thank you.

Love this restaurant! The staff are lovely, the patio is really comfortable and the food is on point. We have been here many times- keeps us coming back. Also- best coffee in town!

I will return! I ordered a special pizza, not on menu ... "No problem!" And it was a delicious! Great service. The wall mural is beautiful.

Had a wonderful lunch at Iguanas. Our server, Max, was amazing and the food was spot on. We started with the calamari rings and both had the fish prepared with garlic. The cucumber lemonade was very refreshing with a hint of sweetness. The mango margarita did not disappoint. I only wish we had cash with us - I would have left a nice tip. We’ll definitely be back.

This place seemed to be full of locals and local expats. Very classy and professionally run place, and some of the staff is bilingual. The chef did an awesome job dealing with my tomato allergy, and we loved the live keyboardist.

An amazing atmosphere and beautifully decorated. Our group enjoyed the food. Our service was top notch.

My husband and I were walking past this restaurant one night and decided to give it a try. The service was great and the food was delicious. Everything is very fresh and flavorful. The setting has a relaxing tropical vibe and is surrounded by fresh flowers and plans. Plus, when we left our waiter gave me one of the small potted flowers to remind us of our experience at Iguanas. It was a very sweet thing to do and we will absolutely visit again.

Good food, I don't like to compare, and there pizza is better than La Finca a couple of blocks away. Wait staff is excellent! Margarita's were wonderful. Downside is no craft beers 🍻 I talked to the owner and he said he was having trouble getting them from the local brewery. Not the first time I have heard that. More than one place has told me about the same issue. It's very good beer, I don't know why they aren't serving the local restaurants???? Any way, if you're in Atenas, grab a meal at Iguanas. Yes they have way more than pizza.

Great place to eat and relax.
The people that works there very friendly.
You should definitely come by if you come to Atenas.
And you should try the traditional food called Chifrijo. It was great.
Also great selection of fruit juice.

Same great food and friendly service as at their previous location. Patio at back features a two story high mural that makes you feel outdoors.
