Tour Guanacaste

I have done 20+ rafting trips; and although this was short (2 hours) it was quite enjoyable. The class III & IV rapids were thrilling and slow times between relaxing. The guide Sergio was experienced, friendly, & knowledgeable. The chief Mario was a hoot! Took 5 hours with transport and a nice meal back at base afterwards. Saw couple iguanas & 1 monkey at riverside. I will certainly do this again next year.

Tony and Roy were fantastic guides on the sloth nature walk and boat safari, and the tour was truly a once in a lifetime experience that greatly exceeded expectations! Some of the highlights were seeing Noni fruit that is being investigated as a cure for cancer, a sloth sleeping in a tree, spider monkeys at home jumping from tree to tree, a baby crocodile, osprey, beautiful birds and butterflies, iron and teak trees, dragon fruit, banana trees, demos regarding leaves that are used for red coloration and sleeping plants, drinking the purest water at the nature preserve area with the kindest host, stopping by the market for the freshest fruit that they provided for us, and more. The truly amazing part of the journey is that none of this was in a zoo! We also got to eat an amazing Costa Rican meal with a truly fantastic view at El Mirador! All of this was with 6 kids and 4 adults, and they were great at engaging the kids. I felt like we got to experience a bit of what Costa Rica is like outside of the resort, and I will forever be grateful to Tony and Roy for showing us Costa Rica and their genuine excitement in discovering things along the way!

We had a great time! The staff was amazing, funny and entertaining, the snorkeling was fun and the drinks just kept coming. We will recommend this tour to everyone visiting Guanacaste.

Got the Mega tour. Great place! The food was amazing for lunch and the hikes and horse back ride were so much fun! The zipline tour was kinda short and not as comfortable as I've experienced in other places but still worth to zip around above the trees. They have a beautiful waterfall not far also on their property and a hot spring! Over all 5/5. Note: check with them before booking our tour guide never came so our group did a self tour. Was some confusion about the cost they added an extra 75$ not sure why and talking to the front desk guy was hopeless he didn't want to corporate. Do want to mention they're doctor on site! He was amazing one of our people in the group fell and hurt themselves in multiple places and hit they're head on a rock. They are ok nothing major but the doctor provided better service then in the states. He was 10/10 great doctor mucho gracias amigo!

We stayed at Dreams Las Mareas and booked 2 tours through Tour Guanacaste. The snorkeling and the mega combo excursions were amazing. Our guide Roy was awesome. Very knowledgeable and just the nicest person. The zip-lining alone was worth the long drive from the resort.

Booking with Tour Guanacaste was my best Costa Rican experience! I was highly impressed with how quick they helped me to organize the tours for my whole family. The tours were all punctual and the guides kept everyone entertained. We saw so many of the sights on our wish list and it was so relaxing not having to find our own way around! We definitely recommend this booking system and will book other tours next time we go!

We have used Tour Guanacaste many times and we would highly recommend them. When traveling to Guanacaste we would also suggest a couple of things. Stay in touch with your provider. In Costa Rica things can change Last minute such as weather, ocean conditions and traffic. If you do have a concern it is always best to bring it up at the time. Mother Nature is in charge of the experience. Didn’t see whales? Water to rough? In Costa Rica we say “Pura Vida” which kind of translates to “Don’t worry, be happy”.

The tour guides were so friendly and try to make us as confortable as we could. They treated us super special ( it was our anniversary)my boyfriend and i were really happy! Thanks again ! Had a great time with the people from Tour Guanacaste, they guided me and my family through the most beatiful beaches from Guanacaste, and also had a great variety of options with great activities. Personally I enjoyed the snorkeling pack, and my kids enjoyed the jetskis. Would recommend everytime!

Our party of 6 did a 1/2 day Hot Springs & Waterfall tour. The hot springs were fantastic, but the mud was meh. It's just a couple of bowls with paint brushes @ Ricon. Our entire party really wishes we had known this as we'd have spent much more time at the waterfall which was _fabulous_. The driver was punctual and picked us up from our condo. The buffet lunch provided was actually FANTASTIC! All-in-all a good day!

Went snorkelling and took a jet ski tour with friends while in Guanacaste. Everyone we talked with at the tour company was very helpful and friendly. We had a great time and would definitely do it again!
