Amazing seafood! Chose from the favorites (the ones designated with "thumbs up" icons): shrimp in patacones, whole snapper, and Mediterranean ceviche 10/10. Flavor and presentation on point! Also cocktails were freshly made with fresh ingredients which is always appreciated :) it's close to the airport which is why we stopped here, so happy we did!

Really enjoyed the food here. I had the risotto de la casa con camarones which was really good. Was an easy stop on my way to my hotel after picking up a rental car. Relatively quick and nice service

We found this as a recommendation when picking up our rental car and it ended up being one of our favorite meals on our trip! The owner came over multiple time to make sure everything was up to par, the food was AMAZING and the restaurant was really cute. Strongly recommend to anyone in the area!

Amazing Ceviche, actually the best we’ve had in CR. Tried 2 other places and came back to Cangrejo for more since the others couldn’t compare. Waiter was super funny, friendly and energetic. Had the same guy both times. Drinks are good and we just loved the place. Will be back for more.

Casual restaurant where you'll see mostly locals. Food, service, and location are excellent, and prices are very fair.

This is an absolute gem! The hospitality was great. We were fortunate to meet the owner and he was great. The upstairs is magical and is amazing. Very cool place.

This places was recommended by the local worker at Enterprise rental car. Really cute and clean restaurant and the food was really good. We ordered the ceviche and Mar y Tierra and their Ginger Lime Cocktail.

We are staying at the Marriott nearby and noticed this corner street restaurant as we drove in. When it was time to grab a quick bite this seemed like an easy choice. We were not let down!

This was a great casual spot with open air seating. Menu has a large selection of local and beach flavor foods with a good drink selection. The owner was present and very attentive. He even offered to call us a ride as we were winding down. The weather was great though, so we took the short walk back to the hotel. I will definitely come back on my next visit.

A quick stop on our way to the airport. So, so much better than expected. We had the calamari (pictured), paella, fish sandwich, and chicken rice. All excellent! We finished off with tres leches, an absolute delight. The fruit smoothies were spectacular. Immaculate, prompt service, great food. What else can you ask for?

Fantastic Little Seafood Restaurant. They have menus in English and Spanish. I especially enjoyed their Mediterranean Ceviche, their patacones with guacamole, and their seabass smothered in carribean seafood sauce (a slighty spicy red sauce with clams, oysters, shrimp and conch). The red crab paella was also yummy. My favorite drink is the guanabana shake.

The Mediterranean Ceviche was excellent. The rojo sea bass special was also excellent but I wish I'd known to ask for sweet plantains instead of fried green plantains. The chicken tenders were surprisingly good, stringy thin chicken pieces; now the wife wants me to figure out how to make them like that. 😂

This was our first meal after landing in Costa Rica. Friendly staff, great recommendations for food, and amazing flavors! Do not miss the espresso and the little caramel-coconut bites that come with it.

This is a great seafood restaurant that I enjoyed numerous times during my stay. Whether it was a nice salmon steak, a flaky fried whitefish, or a grilled seafood plate in Caribbean sauce it was delicious. A really good place to eat with great service and good prices.

Great little spot. The whole snapper was great (my girlfriend gave me a little bit of hers) and the stuffed patacones with shrimp was very delicious.

Looking for a quick bite near the airport and it was AMAZING, went beyond my expectations and left everyone satisfied. Great fries and fried seafood.

The perfect place to eat after 2 hours in customs. Amazing pescado casado!! The ceviche and margarita limon will make your mouth throbbb!!

We had the ceviche, sea bass in garlic sauce and the salmon bowl. Very good and generous portions. Wait staff was very attentive and explained all the dishes in detail. Definitely worth the trip!
