We stumbled on this gem on a Monday driving through the country. We were famished and couldn't find an open restaurant. This place was exceptional! They had a very cool authentic feel with the back open to the jungle. The casado was the best we've had in Costa Rica. This restaurant was also extremely affordable! $19 for three beers, two casado dishes, tax and service fee.

The food here is DELICIOUS. We stumbled upon this late on a Sunday, and they were nice enough to still serve dinner for us. We had ceviche, patacones (plantains) with beans, and arroz con pollo. I’d seriously drive waaay out of my way to eat here again. It felt like having dinner cooked by family.

El patio y jardin son muy bonitos. La comida es rica, tradicional, y autentico. Se siente como en casa.
