Costa Rica Homemade Food cooking classes

Great fun learning to make traditional Costa Rican dishes. We prepped, cooked and enjoyed the food we made including chicken and rice, rice and beans, empanadas, tortillas and 2 other dishes. Our host " Lady " was so welcoming that it felt like coming home for a family get together. You will learn all the basics and will leave confident you can make them at home.We were a group of 6 and left with enough food for a least 2 dinners. You definitely won't leave hungry. I highly recommend and will go again next time I'm in Costa Rica.

Our family of four had a wonderful time learning about Costa Rica from Lady. She’s a delightful person with a great sense of humor and wonderful teacher. We ended up with SO much food to take back to our condo so my advice is book this early in your trip to save money on eating out!

If you have never done a cultural cooking class before while on vacation wherever you are I 100% recommend it. The experience you will get cooking with Lady in her wonderful home is something you have to try! She will treat you like your her own grandchild and share with you all sorts of wonderful local knowledge. Her English is exceptional, and her knowledge and love for what she does goes even beyond that! If I could give this experience she provided our family on vacation I would give it 10 stars.

Lady was so sweet, welcoming, funny, and fun! Our group of 4 loved cooking food with her and it was DELICIOUS. She did all the heavy lifting and helped us be good sous chefs to her. The food was probably some of our favorite that we’ve eaten on our trip. We would highly recommend taking her cooking class if you’re looking for a unique and tasty experience!

So amazing! The owner is the warmest and friendliest human you will ever meet. Highlight of our entire trip.

Nous étions 5 adultes et avons vécu une belle expérience culinaire typique avec la très sympathique Lady. Beaucoup de bouffe à rapporter et un beau souvenir.
