Page Turner Books

What a great little shop for kids!! My 8 year old daughter absolutely loves Page Turner Books.. The have a good selection of stories written in English and in Spanish, and they offer a well rounded range of toys and games for kids as well.. If you’re in the tamarindo area and looking for something productive and healthy for you kids to do check out this little shop between Huacas and Villa Real.. You won’t be disappointed!!

We just love this little bookstore with toys. They have many books about social emotional learning and caring for the planet for all ages in both English and Spanish. This is also the only place we have found eco friendly toys, many Melissa & Doug and our girls love to play with the toy kitchen they have while I shop. If it were closer we would go there weekly. Do yourself and your children a favor and visit them.

I wish I could give more stars! We visited Page Turner on a very stressful day as we were opening a school and some of our materials had gone missing. We were so blessed to arrive to find the owner and her husband there and ready to help. We were looking for high quality wooden educational toys and we were thrilled to find that they had an amazing inventory of excellent materials. The brands were recognizable to me instantly as Melissa and Doug and equivalent. They helped us shop, loaded our car and even gave us a discount. They literally saved the day. We simply cannot say enough good things about this shop and its owners!

Came to paseo del mar to see another store i heard about (which ended up being closed) and found this gem. I would categorize this more as a toy store than a book store. Lots of Melissa and Doug toys and puzzles! Just what I was hoping to find

We came here several times during a two month stay. We found a beautiful easel for my toddler, art supplies, some quality children’s books, and Melissa and Doug toys. I love this brand but think the store could source a few other brands, like Hape or Plan Toys. Had an unpleasant exchange with the employee (owner?), where I paid and she thrust the change at me while looking away. A brief encounter that marked the experience. Following visits were fine. The store is laid out well so I never had to ask for help.
