What a great place to treat yourself healthily.
They have many options, from vegan cakes to regular ones.
We tried the carrot cake, and the holly crumble. We strongly relished both of them, and highly appreciated the moderate sugar content. The lady working there is adorable and welcoming.

Celia is an absolute treasure! What a friendly, wonderful person. I just felt great after ordering. Ok, so the food. I tried all three vegan cakes that were out that day, and they were all delicious. Not overly sweet and with a great texture. The gluten free cake also had a great texture, which I consider somewhat of an achievement. Definitely a good option for sweet treats. I did not try any of the savory dishes, but I did have a refreshing fresh cas juice.

Delicious food, friendly place, always a vegan option available! We had the aloo gobi and yummy vegan dessert too. Celia and her staff are delightful!

Loved meeting Celia! She is so friendly and there to answer all your questions. We were there the day she had thai beef. It was amazing! I am gluten free and she had many options. The tropical cake is to die for. Went back the second day for more. A great addition to cute Samara.

My boyfriend and I visited Sweeties by Celia in early November, and it was an absolute delight. Nestled next to Pali Supermarket and facing the serene church in Sámara, this charming café instantly won our hearts.

What stood out the most were their innovative iced mochas, uniquely served with frozen whipped cream ice cubes - a refreshing twist that elevated the drink to a new level. Equally impressive were their Indian burritos, a fusion of flavors that tantalized our taste buds.

The soul of Sweeties by Celia, however, is the owner. She's a vibrant and friendly woman who radiates warmth and hospitality. Her passion for her café shines through in every detail, from the quality of the food to the welcoming atmosphere. The staff, too, deserves a special mention for their excellent service, making our visit even more enjoyable.

Celia was so kind and the food was absolutely amazing! We get the Thai Basil Chicken and a large piece of chocolate cake to go. The cart is also located in a cute mall area with other carts. Highly recommend.

Celia was so kind and helped me find the perfect cake for celebrating my friends birthday (he is dairy free so finding treats abroad is difficult). We got a vegan chocolate cake and the dairy free cake and cream ice cream. She even gave us a couple of candles we could light. He loved the cake and ice cream and that he could enjoy something special while traveling on his bday. Thank you Celia!

The food and service was excellent. We had a delicious home-made lunch followed by an incredible chocolate truffle cake/ice cream combo, and apple crumb ice cream. Also, Celia and her husband are an adorable team. I highly recommend to anyone in the Samara area looking for a refreshing treat!

Celia's burritos are awesome. So are the cakes & coffee, and when available, the cookies too. Fresh strawberry watermelon juice is available and perfect for a hot afternoon. Delicious fresh baked breads and you'll always get service with a smile be it from Celia or Philip. Sometimes there's live music onsite in the evenings so give em a follow on FB to find out about specials and stay up to date on live events. Would absolutely recommend.

The best apple crumble ever (according to my partner). The ladies are very nice and serve quality food. Come here for a sweet treat. Couldn’t ask anything more for a 5 star 👍

Best coffee and cake on planet earth! We had almond milk latte, and reg cappuccino. The apple crumble was *chef’s kiss.

Wow, best Cold Brew of my life! Super great Cappuccino and Coffee. Home-made vegan cakes and deserts. No preservatives, GMO, artificial flavors. And you need to meet Cecilia!!

This place is so lovely! The owners are so nice, and the food is delicious from the dinner to the desserts. Definitely worth a stop in Samara.

The food, desserts and coffee were all fantastic and well priced. But more than that, Celia is delightful. We visited during a thunderstorm and she was so accommodating, lent us an umbrella to get to our table and made sure we stayed dry. You have to stop by here while in Samara, you will have a wonderful experience with Celia!

This place is absolutely amazing. You can just feel the love and intention that Celia and her family put into their beautiful cakes. I visited for the first time today and it’s only my second day in Costa Rica, and I will absolutely be back again! Celia is also a real estate agent and has some awesome connections if you’re looking for property here. She is amazing and I absolutely love and recommend this place 100000%. Amazing fresh food. We had the vegan bowl and burrito as well as the choco/peanut butter cake. Soooo tasty. Great stop for lunch, either for the food or just for the friendliness of the owner Celia.

Such a cute little place with amazing people! Celia offered us several nice options veg and non-veg. We have chosen a non-veg option and it was so delicious! Plus we ordered two cakes and those were so fresh and right amount of sweet! Five stars! Happy to be back again!❤
