Bar La Roca

This was their first official night re-opened from a long renovation. They did not disappoint in any regard. From atmosphere to service and quality of the food it was an excellent experience and I highly recommend this excellent restaurant!

Another great meal at Bar LA Roca - chicken in white sauce with mushrooms. Absolutely delicious! Service, portion size and quality of food is absolutely amazing. Also chicken and rice was very good! Love this restaurant and it's ambiance!

This place is a must for tourist and locals. Whenever we grab someone from the airport we always stop here on the way to Nosara. prices are decent portions are small but good .

Newly renovated, modern design, clean & nice big bathrooms. Small menu but enough selections. Reasonably priced & good service although it took a bit long for the food to arrive. The chicken Casado was delicious & the limonada was the best lemonade I ever tasted. A must-stop when in the area. It’s easy to find right on the the highway with ample parking. There’s also a small supermarket & liquor store beside the restaurant. Prices are comparable to other stores…we bought chips and drinks. The best part of the restaurant is the picturesque view of the Nicoya Valley. You can also see a waterfall from the open air patio.

Best gem we found 20 min outside of Samara- the cleanest restaurant/bathrooms, and breathtaking view. My husband loved their iced coffee and kids loved the lemonade and mango smoothie. Had ceviche as well on another stop- outstanding!

Such an amazing restaurant with a breathtaking view. The food is amazing and the staff as well. Bathrooms are sparkling clean ❤ highly recommend.

Amazing food. We both had the Casadas. Price is very fair for what you get. The portion is great. The view is amazing you overlook the entire valley, will definately try and return before we are due home.

Beer and wildlife! We saw a toucan and a flock of parakeets, and heard howlers, while enjoying a cold cerveza and soaking up the amazing view!
