Rancho Cocobolo

My kind of place, VERY casual, walk in from the beach, order drinks and food, and enjoy the ocean in front of you, with the jungle behind you! There is a small boutique hotel that is owned by the same people.
The ceviche is very fresh! The flour chips are amazing, and so much more on the menu.
Isaac is the best bar tender!

Nice breeze from very nice tables just a few steps up from the beach. Great tasting food. This place is connected to a hotel/resort up the road.

This is a little slice of heaven! There are not many places to eat and relax right on the water, so if you are in the area, this is a MUST! Traditional and american foods, clean picnic huts, friendly staff and delicious drink! 5 stars!

Nice place at the beach with some really delicious pizza options.

We stayed at at at Rancho Cocobolo for two nights and ate at the restaurant everyday. Lior and Keren are wonderful hosts who have put together a great beachside hotel and restaurant. The tables are all their own little villas, so it's easy to separate during COVID. The Pizza and drinks are the best in town, and the rooms have great wifi, AC, showers, and lots of space for Yoga during the mid day while hiding from the sun. Oh and we Watched birds from our balcony; there are many parrots, parakeets, herons, pelicans, and vulchers. We really enjoyed the bay, and the town.

The pizza was very good and big. It's a little expensive. The view is really nice, there's tables in small ranchos which are very separate from each other which gives you a lot of privacy.

Very nice people. Spacious rooms and delicious food. A lot of activities can be recommended by team.

Always love my lunches at Cocobolo’s while bringing my tours here to SJ. Staff is always friendly, drinks cold, food is always good…and the views from the tables awesome. 😀

Amazing location, great staff awesome food. Lots of vegan and raw food options. The rooms are brand new with amazing ocean views. You can hear the waves and enjoy the start night sky. The room is equipped with high end finishes and very clean.

One of my favorite spots. Eat Costa Rican or. Hamburgers and papas fritas. Lemonade con menta or herba Buenas. All by the. sea. Amazing.

What a wonderful surprise !!! Excellent fresh food and good beer. Fair prices. Perfect atmosphere in front of the blue sea. I'm sure come back to eat there soon.

Very nice little surprise. Road to Nosara really shakes you up so these guys can help smooth you out. Great margaritas and tropical adult beverages
