Azul Ocean Club Hotel

A beautiful spa feel to the entire experience beginning at check-in. The front desk clerk was conscientious, welcoming, and professional. The rooms are tidy end spacious. They provided a fresh fruit tray upon arrival... for those of us who had the basic common sense to put the tray in the medium-sized fridge while we settled, it was a nice touch. The pool is beautiful, and although we had a garden view room with a balcony, we also had a view of the Pacific. The beach is stunningly beautiful, and mere steps from hotel amenities. There are lounge chairs and cozy club seats available around the pool, between restaurants, in an alcove near the outdoor Yoga pergola, and beneath a pergola on the beach. The food and spirits are excellent. What a great experience. Thanks so much to the staff and owners. Our stay was a delight. We were blown away by our stay at the Springs Spa & Resort. After several visits to various parts of CR over the past decade, Azul Ocean Club is outstanding of its own unique accord.

A truly wonderful experience at the Azul Ocean Club Hotel. When we first arrived there were two other couples, one with a young child, and for our last two days we were the only people at the resort (due to rainy season).

The staff were wonderful across the board, from pick up at the airport until our last meal. The food was fantastic, and the servers provided a beautiful experience during each meal. The sunset views were absolutely incredible.

For three nights we were able to completely relax and experience our own resort. I highly recommend this hotel to family and friends, especially during the quiet season!

Very nice and luxury hotel at the beachfront and with a large pool. Delicious breakfast and dinner.
There ist a gym, Pool Billard and Darts.
The staff is very kind. During rain season the are just a few guests! During our stay there only have been 2 other guests - so it was only 6 guests!
Only problem ist the 12 km long really rough road to get to this hotel... A 4WD Car is recommended during rain season!

The resort was absolutely gorgeous. Between the beauty of the ocean and sun which we could see from our bed and outside hammock to the incredibly comfortable beds and huge rooms— I’ll definitely be back! A great hotel to enjoy the beautiful west coast of Costa Rica and enjoy the surf and yoga all day long.

Roberto is super hospitable and kind! His mango margaritas are tasty :)

If you are looking for peace for your vacations, this is the perfect place. the rooms are beautiful and the food in the restaurants exceeded my expectations. Playa Azul definitely has some of the best sunsets I've ever seen. super attentive and nice staff!!!

After an hour on the famous dusty roads of CR we arrived at the white villas of AOC, gleaming in the afternoon sun. We were welcomed with a warm smile and cold coconut water, so refreshing.
The agent offered us another beautiful smile and complimentary room upgrade from the deluxe garden view room we booked, we agreed and accepted the keys. Oh my, she upgraded us to the exact villa all would love to enjoy, ocean front!
We were greeted by Ariana in the morning, a friendly smile to go with complimentary full bkfst and her joy sent us on our way for a day in her country, pure Pura Vida.
Lulled to sleep with the sounds of crashing waves, we are ending day 5 of a 3 day detour. Thank you AOC, for your villas, creative delicious food offerings, staff and their hospitality and the amazing sunsets. The reason you came to Costa Rica

Perfect location sorrounded by nature, really calm environment. Perfect to relax. Private beach for guests made it a unique experience. Lovely rooms well equipped and luxurious villas. Food was great and lots of options to choose.

Spectacular facilities and service. Perfect hotel for couples seeking a quiet experience by the beach with superb service. Would return without a doubt. Make sure to order the espresso martinis!
