WOW! So enjoyed our Christmas meal at Pacifico Azul. Super popular dining location in Guiones. We now know why!

Amazing and festive atmosphere. Loved all the vegetation and lights. So many areas to sit and enjoy a tasty meal.

Our hotel staff recommended the gambas/shrimp. Wow. So delicious. From the appetizers to the dessert everyone was super satisfied with our meals.

Service was efficient friendly and quick.

This spot is spacious but still chill, and feels outside the hustle and bustle of other parts of Guiones beach. The food was amazing and portions were super generous. Staff were all lovely and helpful! We showed up at about 6 and were seated without a reservation which we really appreciated.

We love coming to Pacifico Azul when we are in town. The food is always really fresh and the atmosphere is so pretty.

We love that if we go fishing we can bring our catch in and they will cook it up for you a few different ways. This last time we had fish fingers, ceviches, and then fish filet in garlic butter with rice and salad. Everything was amazing.

A michelada is always a must when we are there! The service is always really great!

We both opted for seafood dishes here and we're not disappointed. It is a little more experience than other restaurants we are at but felt it was more than worth it.
We turned up without a reservation but had no problem getting a table, however there was only 2 of us and they were busy so might be best to book if you can.
One of our highlights food wise from our trip.

We visited 4/6/24 while the area was in the middle of a drought. Business was slow. Which left us mostly alone in the whole restaurant. We sat outside while it was still 80 degrees outside. It was fabulous. Our server was more bilingual than us which helped clarify a few things on the menu and ask for more mostaza-maiz dressing which is not on the menu but is the best salad dressing you’ll ever have (ask for it on your side salad that comes with most meals)
The mahi mahi y Camerones con salsa de aguacate was sooo sooo good. And while casado is a pretty standard rice dish, their version blows everyone else out of the water. And the brownie with coconut ice cream for the win!!

Great Food Quality, very delicious and fair prices. The ambience is romantic and feels like home with the friendly staff.

When we arrived we were a little sceptical since nobody else was having dinner but we were early at around 5pm. They had neatly written daily specials on the board and we went with a standard tuna tartar. It came with mango, avocado and grated carrots in a soy-garlic sauce and was very delicious. It was the best one we had so far in Costa Rica. The main dish was mahi mahi mediterranean style, which was a fish covered with tomato base with a large shrimp and a few clamps with 2 sides of choice. It was really tasty and the sauce prevented mahi mahi from being too dry. The other dish was grilled mahi mahi with shrimp skewers in a wasabi sauce. It was also very delicious. All pieces of the dish including the cooked veggies were freshly prepared and still hot when served. They had mango margarita on the menu but I decided against it as it would have been served in a whiskey glass. Not sure why but this is the second restaurant lately that does it. I know it's the same taste but you taste with eyes first.

Fish Casado and Ceviche are my favorites, along with a custom linguine they make to order. We eat here regularly throughout the year.

Seafood is fresh from Garza, and they will also prepare your own catch should you score that perfect tuna on your charter.

Staff is awesome and the owner is always making sure food quality is very high. The chef, cooks, waiters, bartenders are incredible people, who enjoy sharing what they love about the local community, family and will make you feel welcome. Yes, the waiters all speak fluent English if your Spanish streak on DuoLingo is busted.

Finish with the brownie and coconut ice cream.

We’ve done multiple big group dinners and it’s always a great vibe. Great taste of typical Costa Rican food with a nice flare. Best sangria in town. Fish Casado is a staple and ceviche is very good and fresh. Fried banana dessert is a must!

What an amazing team at Pacifico. Caught a Mahi in the morning, a local let us know to come here to ask about preparing our fish, best recommendation we had! They made civiche and grilled filets, so wonderful. Family atmosphere, great drinks. Will be back!

This was an amazing restaurant. You will experience the true Costa Rica flavor. They will prepare your catch for you if you like, that also was awesome.

THIS IS A MUST!! This was our “go to” spot while vacationing in Nosara! Very memorable experience! Top notch service and cuisine. We brought our freshly caught Tuna and the chef prepared the best Tartare and Carpaccio we have ever had!

We very much enjoyed this place. Walked in last minute, without a reservation, and were promptly seated in a nice spot in the garden. Service and food were both great, and not overpriced.

Beautiful setting and delicious food! Grilled Mahi-mahi, curry shrimp special, kids loved the fish & chicken fingers.

So good! I normally don't eat fish and want to go back for more here. The Mahi Mahi and blackened fish salad are so yummy. Solid every time.

The ceviche in coconut milk was wonderful. But the coconut ice cream was the belle of the ball. (Next time I simply plan to order 6 scoops of coconut ice cream, as an entree.)

Great restaurant, we had been fishing and they were happy to prepare our tuna for us.
