Hilton Cartagena

Great hotel and safe… the service was amazing however a few feedback for the hotel:
1) Have more signs around to help guest navigate.
2) Front desk should provide details about the hotel and the amenities.
3) Have more pool activities.
4) Street sellers will not leave you alone or let you relax at the beach.
5) The hotel needs attention more from Hilton and requires some renovation. It’s very dated.

Loved this hotel! The pool was so cute with the the trees and flowers! The beach was ok, but cute for sunset/rise. We got breakfast included and it was very good and variety every day

The pool is nice although it needs more shade around it. I love the service and how attentive everyone is. The only issue is that in some rooms the ac doesn't work as expected so we had to ask them to change rooms. The breakfast is unfortunately too expensive for what you can get in the area. For the rest I really enjoyed the executive lounge food and attention.

By far the best hotel in Cartagena. The most amazing check in and the best employee they have is Valentina Baiz. She makes you feel like you are at home. She is excellent. The moment i walk in i was greeted with her smile and she did everything to make me feel welcome.

Amazing staff. Amazing pools. Amazing location. Excellent rooms. Beautiful city. Excellent hotel.

4.8/5 Would love to return. The location is utterly fantastic, it's nestled between three beaches and a small man made lagoon. The extension pools are equally impressive. The overall service was prompt and professional. Hotel restaurant is willing to provide all the local plates that I am particularly fond of. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The only minor drawback was the amount of locals who pester and pedal wares on the hotel's beach.

Nice hotel. Needs a few minor issues in the rooms to be taken care of, but it's a nice and clean hotel.
Big disadvantage is that there are no ashtrays at smoking free areas. It's not a cheap hotel and they could have some ashtrays for those you enjoy their drink outside having a smoke.
Last but not least, I would like to mention, that in a hotel in such a touristic area, I would expect that more would be able to speak English more fluently. Of course everyone was helpful, but please understand that, when i am asking something in English, there is no point in answering in Spanish, because I will not understand what you are saying. Of course the employees at the reception desk, knew English and we were able to communicate, but with everyone else the communication was a little a bit of an issue.

Great hotel to stay at while in CARTAGENA! Location was on point, always transportation on the go waiting for ya outside, super clean place an a majestic view when the sun sets! The breakfast was okay but you can always walk 2 minutes into some great food spots.

I just came back from Cartagena on 11/29/23. My stay at the Hilton was very nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It's worth the few extra $ for oceanside view. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Juan, the manager is awesome. So ask for him if you have any issues. Great pool and you have access to the beach. You can taxi anywhere from this hotel for about 20-30 pesos. It's away from the noise and hustle of the streets. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating.. the brunch is the best part with made to order juices and omelettes each morning.

Great place to spend a few days. Hotel staff are awesome and even remembered me from a year ago when I weighed 125# more than now.

It was a great stay and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Definitely would come back.

Beach front location is good, not far from the airport and close to many other nice beaches.

I had a wonderful time at the Hilton Cartagena. The views are amazing and the service was even better. The food was very delicious and I had a good selection as a pescatarian. I felt safe the entire time, every morning I noticed them cleaning the pool and everyone was available for assistance. As a solo traveler, I never felt unsafe. I also had the best massage at the spa. Would definitely recommend 10/10.

Brilliant Hilton property with pampering hospitality, excellent service, small private beach and magnificent views iver the high rises of the city and the Caribbean sea.

I had the most amazing time at this resort. I was checked in by Mauricio and he was absolutely delightful, professional and very helpful. The bellmen were all courteous and helpful. The bartenders were all engaging and charming. The staff in the dining area were all pleasant and the housekeeping team was very attentive and on point with upkeeping our room. I have absolutely no complaints about my stay at Hilton, Cartagena, it was truly delightful. Thank You

I stayed at Hilton Cartagena for 11 nights. Having said that, I've seen them at their best and at their worst. On both accounts they delivered excellently. Room (actually I should say: rooms, because I was forced to move to another room) were comfortable, and the house keeping was impeccable. Very generous breakfast (I am not a breakfast person) but it was such a tempting variety of food so I indulged myself to it every single morning. Thank you Chefs!!!!! Compliments to the Reception Stuff, professional and patient even with annoying issues. 5 stars to Porter Oscar. Very honest taxi service at the hotel. It looks I am sugar coating......so I must make my review more sort of speak realistic. Upon exiting elevator (not on the sides of the halls!) , there must be clear sign which rooms are where. It's very confusing. On my first day I walked miles to find my room (and Oscar was not available😆). I think it stated somewhere, that hotel has its private beach, which is not true. Tons of hustlers walking into your face with their stuff. The worst are jet ski and boat riders!!!! They are extremely dangerous since they swim in high speed right by people swimming in the ocean. Not to mention the stench of gasoline. I was told by hotel staff, they are working on it. Work harder before someone will be killed or injured. For sure I would be delighted to go back to that hotel providing JetBlue has excellent non stop service to Cartagena. I would like to thank all the hotel staff I encountered with, you did it, and you did in excellence!

The hotel has been around a long time but is well maintained and upgraded. The pool is great. Good hotel for families with kids, nice pool and playroom with activities for the kids. Our breakfast was included and buffet was very varied and good

Beautiful hotel on the beach. Gym is ok. Restaurant and wine is less than ok. But overall nice hotel. If you like parcour running ( jumping over street dogs, broken sidewalks, flooded streets, and sand filled paths, beach paths with beautiful girls), this is the place to stay and run.

It’s one of the best vacations we’ve had. Every aspect of our stay was exceptional from our meals, our room, overall service. Every member of the Hilton Cartagena team went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed at all times.
