Exceeded my expectations. We visited for a day trip. We took the free couch area in our booking and it was much better than taking any of the beds at a higher price. The couches were shaded and had plenty of room.

The pool was nice! The entire area was much cooler and enjoyable than cartagena. Great place to escape the heat.

The food was decent even if it was expensive.

It did not have a party vibe to me, but you can definitely make it what you want.

Our experience at Blue Apple Beach Club was nothing short of incredible. The service was unmatched, and special shout out to Paulina. You are the best, and were SO much help to us! The cocktails were delicious, and the food was out of this world! We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a cabana as well. Not only this, but the vibes themselves were immaculate. Everyone was having the best time, and the atmosphere of Blue Apple was beautiful and relaxed and fun all at the same time. I hope to be back in the future!

My partner and I LOVED our stay at Blue Apple -- so much so, the second we left we were already scheming about when/how to return. Every detail is flawless: the staff, the rooms (the pics don't do justice to how nice the rooms are), the food, the drinks, the beach, everything. It's a 25-minute boat ride to get there (which was really fun by itself), but it feels a world away from the hustle and bustle and sweltering heat of the city. During the day (from about 11:30 until 4:30), there's definitely more of a party scene, which was great for day drinking and people-watching, but the resort gets very quiet again at night. The beachside cabanas are ideal for a little more privacy, away from the liveliness of the pool. We stayed in the room called "Papaya" attached to the main house and slept amazingly well. We also took advantage of the yoga classes they offered while we were there (thanks to a visiting yoga instructor), which were great - they have mats and blocks in every room available for use. The food/drinks deserve a special call-out; we were surprised to find new, delicious additions at every mealtime, so we never felt tired of the offerings. Oh - and the massages!! I got one 2/3 days we were there. Could life get any better? Thanks for a beautiful time, Blue Apple.

We did not stay overnight but enjoyed Blue Apple day pass 2 days in a row. This place is heaven on earth. Very chilled, played back atmosphere. I’d recommend this place mainly for adults but you can also bring your kids, they will enjoy the beach and the pool. The food is amazing and reasonably priced. Our server Antonio was the best. He attended to us both days. Will definitely recommend and will come back next time in Colombia.

We loved spending the day here! The pool overlooks the Caribbean Sea and you can’t beat the view! All of the employees here are wonderful! The facilities including the bathrooms are kept clean throughout the day. I highly recommend a visit here which includes a fun boat ride here and back!

Incredible place, right on the beach. Very attentive service. Everything super clean, rooms are amazing and spacious. Best bed I've slept on for a long time. Food is delicious and the menu has plenty of options for every taste. Had the best time of my life here. I'd say it's more of a romantic getaway than a family vacation type of place.

Enjoyable for even a single overnight stay! In our mid-50's, we weren't quite sure what to expect from the beach club during the day. Since we were there on a weekday, it wasn't "crazy" Miami Beach type of beach party... just some house music playing at a reasonable level and people lounging. Our lunch was absolutely delicious - the chicken sandwich and roasted eggplant was amazing. (I might have liked some alternative salty bar snacks to nibble on throughout the day, or a fresh fruit plate...). Our room "Papaya" was HUGE and really well laid out. One note - if you are short - the bed is REALLY high to get in and out of. Also, to keep the AC in the bedroom, you do need to shut the bathroom door as the windows in the bathroom don't close and the AC just flows right out. Linens were super soft and the bath towels were HUGE as well. We had the seafood paella for dinner which was good, but not amazing. The Columbian breakfast was delicious. Thanks for a great stay!

After reading and researching endlessly which island and resort to stay at I stumbled upon a blogger that recommended The Blue Apple. I wanted fun, but not a 24/7 party. We could not have been happier. This place is absolutely worth a visit. Oh, Where to start...
1. The Vibe - So fun! They have a style and it shines through in everything they do. From the decor, rooms, beach cabanas, & drink and food menu, it all has a personality
2. The Pool & Beach - We enjoyed the lively days with music and additional guests arriving for the afternoon. We also enjoyed the quiet evenings. The beach cabanas are charming. We also got to pick our beach or pool chairs before other guests arrived.
3. The Room - We stayed in the villa w/o a pool. I think it had the best view - closest to the beach. They king bed was super comfy. Cold AC and private patio overlooking the beach.
3. Welcoming - From the moment you step off the boat they take your luggage and moments later greet you with a welcome drink.
4. The Food!!!! Absolutely some of the best food I have had. I'm from Portland, we pride ourselves in being "Foodies". It exceeded my expectation. My goal was to try everything on the menu. I didn't succeed. But every single thing I tried was a 10. I'm still thinking of the avocado toast and curried lentils.
5. The Staff - Everybody we met was so gracious. It felt like they loved their job and were very happy to be there. After 4 days we were ready for something new. They scheduled a "taxi" (aka motorcycle) to pick us up and take us to another beach on the other side of the island. It was fun to see the island, locals and have a different beach for the day.

We went to Blue Apple and rode horses around the island including riding the horses in the surf. We spent a bit of time having drinks and lunch at the club. Everything was wonderful. Paradise

Incredible resort!! I spent four days there and had a great mix of relaxation and fun. Blue Apple also makes it very easy to have the full Cartagena experience and can help get you into the city for a day trip, so I highly recommend staying at Blue Apple on Tierra Bomba island even if you want to explore the city

This paradise is surely perfect in every way, but the staff make the experience warm and memorable. We will perhaps forget the delicious food or golden sunsets, but we will always remember the constant and genuine smiles of the staff. And bonus- they like working with each other.

Blue apple beach is only about a 20 minute boat ride from the walled city. Total cost for the boat was about 20 USD.

It was definitely worth it. The food and drinks were AMAZING. The chef on site has done a really great job. And from my experience, the food and drinks are cheaper than what you pay for on Rosario island.

Blue apple beach is more laid back than a lot of the other beach clubs. Was a great spot to relax in the ocean/pool and read a book in the lounge chairs.

The staff were amazing as well!

My wife and I had a spectacular time at Blue Apple Beach. The food, drinks, music and daytime poolside parties were amazing. The staff was very friendly, very patient (my spanish was a little rusty lol) and very attentive to our every need. From our poolside lounge chairs, to our all day stay in the Cabana, we were very well taken care of. We stayed in town at the beginning of our vacation and decided to spend our last few days relaxing and soaking up the sun, away from the hustle of the city (location, location, location) and we were not disappointed. Partying poolside all day, beach volleyball, yoga and then relaxing with drinks by the pool or on the beach all night. Could life get any better? The beach was beautiful, the water perfect and no words can do that stunning sunset any justice (we watched it on the beach every night of our stay). Breakfast was delicious, dinner was amazing with the outdoor lighting definitely adding that romantic aspect, which we loved. We met some amazing people, island day goers and staffers, and I even learned some new spanish lingo. My wife hasn't stopped talking about the great time we had yet and is already planning our next visit. Thank you Blue Apple for all your hospitality and for making what started out as just a well needed vacation into a spectacular memory for us!!!!!

My best friend & I stayed at Blue Apple for 2 nights during the week and had the most majestic time! We were in the Mangostino room and loved the privacy it offered, all of the amenities inside were top notch. From the comfy bed, personal plunge pool, rain shower, and espresso machine, we were more than comfortable.

The beach club stayed busy during the day (but far from over crowded) with day pass holders from the mainland but from 5pm to 11am it felt like we had the place to ourselves. It was magical!

We booked through Blue Apple direct and enjoyed the perks of our included breakfast (max 60,000 COP pp). Every meal was as delicious as it was photogenic. Our favorites were the Yuca Pancakes, Fruit Plate, The Blue Cheese & White Wine Muscles, Seafood Paella and for dessert the Affogato 🤤

Hour long massages for $30USD cannot be beat. We also did a scuba diving excursion with Armando thru Paraiso Dive (onsite) and had the time of our lives doing that for the first time. We had no prior experience but he made us feel super comfortable in our dive and got to see the beautiful reefs and fishies a short swim from the front gates of Blue Apple.

We also took a short motorbike ride to a near by beach club Amare for lunch one day. We definitely preferred Blue Apple but it was nice to see a bit of the island and have a longer beach to walk up & down for an afternoon.

They also have a sweet gift shop with beautiful, sustainable clothing & more… I bought a new bathing suit!

Our only regret is not staying a third night. The staff were so friendly, accommodating. Prices at the resort are a la carte but still reasonable considering you are on an island and the quality is so fresh. Shout out to Daniel, Antonio & Paulina for going above and beyond for us. We hope to be back soon!

We purchased a day pass with our own bungalow. The location was amazing, had full access to the beach and the pool/bar area. The food was perfectly done, and the drinks were heavenly. The venders were respectful and the service was impeccable!! Highly recommend. It is on our list as a place to revisit!

This Beach club was one of the best experience that we had in Cartagena. We took the ferry going to the club, we reserved the lunch and Cabanna for celebrating a birthday, which was the best idea. The staff were talking English, which we were so surprised in Cartagena. They were so nice and friendly. the hotel is very quiet, but at the same time playing music by the pool, which you can have a good time, the food was unbelievable delicious you can have a very relaxing day by the Caribbean Sea, enjoying the sunset getting a full body massage and going to the ocean. We had a very great day. I recommend to just communicate with the hotel directly and reserve everything directly through their website, no tour needed, very easy and simple to communicate with them!

I have enjoyed everything in Blue Apple Beach, since beginning till the end. The transportation comes with the prices of the room as well the breakfast. We loved the room service, and also the VIP service they give to the guests. I have enjoyed a lot the pyramid cabañas in front of the sea, and Jorge's attention, he was incredible with us. Daniel as well was really good host.

We loved our little pool in our room, reading, eating an drinking there was quite nice and peaceful!

I'm so in love with this place that i'll go again for more vacations or work from there! 💜

The resort is beautiful. The staff is very helpful and kind. Note that the weekend parties pack the place from about 10am-5pm so the pool water is not appealing and the DJ music is very loud. The weekdays are very relaxing and quiet. As a parent of two young children, I’d say kids should be left at home unless you can keep them really quiet. The beach is tiny and if the waves are big you won’t be able to swim much since there are huge rocks that pose a risk.
The rooms are designed beautifully, great AC, and amenities, but the owners should put larger trash cans by the toilets.
The food is good but be careful with their upsell. They will charge you about $3 for a second cup of coffee at breakfast, which is ridiculous.
We walked to Boca Chica, which is worth it if you want a reality/perspective check on life. People are very friendly and there’s a small grocery store to buy things.

Terrific!!!!
Absolutely spotless and non intrusive service from the moment of arrival until leaving. Food was delicious and plenty and the resort is beautiful.
I saw the manager working hard at her computer so did t want to interrupt her. But wanted to say: thank you. Absolutely great vibes with wonderfully calming music. Staff super professional and relaxed. An absolute pleasure.
