Absolutely fabulous! Beautiful, comfortable hotel. Great service, good food. Comfortable room and beds. We loved this place, went with little kids. It's on the edge of town, so quieter than the rest of town. The place to be. Gorgeous property.

My brother's wedding was held here, and it left us with great memories. By far the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The staff were very friendly, bilingual, and very accommodating. You should definitely treat yourself to a night here. The rooftop pool and restaurant have one of the best views in town.

Wife and I took a vacation at the hotel. We were looking for a comfortable room within the historic center where we could walk and this was the perfect place. Rooftop pool has an amazing view of the city, the attention from the staff was great, and the food that we tried was delicious.
There are plenty of things to do within a 30 minute walk, from eating, drinking, or shopping.
I specifically want to mention the excellent service provided at breakfast by the whole staff, we stayed multiple days and by the end they treated us like family. Will definitely come back next time we are in Cartagena

Loved this hotel! The food was amazing, the air was ON, and the staff was very nice and helpful. When we arrived we had an issue with our hotel room door not securing, and after we notified the front desk they sent someone and it was fixed immediately. We will definitely be staying at the Charleston again. The location was perfect.

Beautiful hotel located in the center of EVERYTHING. The rooms were spacious and clean. Hotel staff was accommodating especially Raphael. He was a charm. I swear everytime we cam back our rooms had been cleaned with fresh linens and when had out personal items put to the side neatly. The breakfast was very good fill of fresh fruit. Nothing beat the roof top pool with a stunning view. Everything about our stay here was nothing short of amazing.

Beautiful courtyard/dining area. Service is excellent. I stayed during my birthday and they brought a surprise cake to my room. They have housekeeping come twice a day, which is definitely refreshing during Covid era when hotels eliminated housekeeping altogether. Location is great- right in the middle of old city. Can walk to all the shops, restaurants.

We had an incredible time splurging here for our honeymoon! We are usually budget travelers, so ending our trip with some class and luxury was a real treat. :-) The rooftop wading pool was a highlight and provided incredible views of the city and we were able to experience the most precious colorful sunset over the sea on one of the cloudless nights. The breakfast in the morning was also delightful, with so many unique/local whole fruits to choose from (we booked a room where breakfast was included, which was a great choice). Oh and there were fresh flowers everywhere that looked and smelled incredible! Hydrangea, lilacs, orchards - so much beauty everywhere.

We stayed in the newer "Republican" part of the hotel - I loved the lavender colored walls and our shower had the best view of the city. We also enjoyed looking/sitting in the more historic colonial part of the hotel. There is so much to soak up throughout the surroundings, and the location is absolutely perfect - near the Old City wall/lookout and walkable to all of the shops and restaurants in the area. If you want to indulge a little bit during your travels, this the perfect spot to do so. :-)

we had a great time in this fabulous hotel, charleston crew is sweet, polite, respectful and professional. Our experience was really great. We (my husband and me) came from Michigan USA with my father in-law (83 years old folk) who got sick and let me tell you we had a doctor coming to his bedroom to check on him. Breakfast time was awesome, MARIA our waitress for breakfast went above of expectations....we love you, thank you so much for helping us. Raphael our waitress thank so much for your excellent service too. Elis, every tour you planned for us was a success thank you so much too. Jesus Martinez (front desk) since the moment we arrive we were greeted by Jesus, we have not been treated as well as Jesus did, you are awesome in what you do, very knowledgeable and professional...we can thank you enough for your guidance. I haven’t stayed here but I wanted to mention the restaurant has great food!! I eat out all the time and they definitely have one of the best tasting steaks I’ve had in all of Cartagena

We stayed at the Hotel Charleston Santa Teresa for a week - our room was beautiful and overlooked the courtyard, the staff was so accommodating throughout the hotel (bar, pool, restaurant, bell men, etc.). Rafael at the front was so helpful and provided us great food recommendations. Mitchell at the downstairs bar made amazing drinks and was so friendly. Ahead of our stay, guest services helped us set up transportation to the airport and multiple different excursions with safe third party companies. When you check in you are greeted with a welcome drink, they have 24 hour room service and the pool + restaurant food is so good! Every day the staff turns down your bed and leaves little candies for you. It’s in the perfect location right near the wall at the edge of the city, which we preferred as it wasn’t too hectic right outside the hotel. I’d highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again - it’s beautiful and has top tier service!

Our stay was amazing. The hotel was beyond what we expected, we had no idea it was a luxury hotel in the city. Its perfect location. We loved the food there, we loved the rooftop pool area- where we spent most of our time. 100% recommend staying in the hotel until around 4pm when the sun starts going down to explore the city plus this gives you time to spend at the hotel.

the service here was AMAZING, so amazing that we felt bad how nice everyone is. We loved the staff! Gustavo, Felix, and everyone else in the roof top pool were great and they truly make you feel like family. The room service was open really late with a limited menu but again, amazing.

The rooms have air conditioning at all times. Covid tests were sent to our room, super convenient. overall we loved it and we will be back!

Gorgeous place located within the city walls (built by the spanish conquistadors). The hotel is very pretty with a central patio where there's a restaurant. The food is amazing, mostly seafood. Drinks are also excellent and attention is top notch!. The locals are super nice and courteous. They go above and beyond to make you feel as a star.

I am very happy with this hotel rooms are clean and beautiful, Breakfast is great, staff is nice with a quick check in, the food in room service is amazing highly recommend, Wifi works great, beds are comfy and the pool even it is not in service, they provide alternatives.
