Ethnic Supermarket

I’ve been told there’s a great Asian supermarket in Guelph. So we stoped by and tried to find something to eat on our way back from a weekend trip. There’s a lot of Asian snacks and drinks. I was amazed when I saw the whole sushi fridge, I had so many options. The tattoo sushi guy was professional. I told him I was the first time there and asked for his advice. He recommended Ethnic combo as it contains all signatures, but it always sold out rapidly like the day I went. Tattoo guy made me a fresh one in minutes(delicious and even better than some sushi restaurant). I had it along with Salmon Town, both great! End up buying a lot of unexpected things. Highly recommended.

Very nice supermarket for all your international ingredients. There is a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. Their meat department also has a halal section and is priced very competitively. I would rather shop here for meat than most places due to the price and quality. There are butchers on site.

Seafood section is also nice and clean. Does not have that strong fishy smell like some places in downtown Toronto.

Very pleased we have something like this in our city.

There is ample parking, and is wheelchair accessible.

The road is very busy so good luck trying to make a left turn out the parking lot.

This store has changed, for the better. The meat selection has gotten even better the fish selection also. So much goodness in this store. Yummy sushi counter also.

Most affordable food in Guelph with good standards for quality. You won't find everything you are looking for but it's our staple for grocery shopping.

The dairy section is lacking I think they could get some better quality options in there. I get whole chickens there that are pasture raised. $13 can't beat that

Pretty good Asian market for Guelph. I'm used to the GTA Asian superstores, but this will have to do. Prices and the hot food is good. I bought bubble tea where you just add hot water. It was a pack of 3 for approximately $6. I liked it for the price. I purchased the crabs. It came in a pack of 8, no shell, but you can see that there was meat inside. Worth checking it out! There's lots of variety.

The moment you walk into this grocery store you see a very large variety of the most delicious mouthwatering fruits and vegetables. The store is full of all kinds of delicious food. It's spotless and the employees are very helpful and friendly. So many varieties of all kinds of things I am very impressed with this store. Thanks!!

The place has one of the best produce in town. Competitive prices but thry have a wide variety of Asian products to choose from.

Produce is generally superior to other places in town. So many new spices and hot sauce to try!
My favourite is to wander through the snack aisles and load up candy and chips. It's a bit of an adventure trying new things. They make great gifts!

WOW! I could easily spend a long time browsing through all the aisles.
So much variety, great quality, good prices...a lot of the produce is pre bagged unfortunately and it comes in large quantities.

I was surprised to see they are still using plastic bags at check out, I thought they were now banned.

There's a hot food counter and a butcher. We got a tray of sushi to try and it didn't disappoint.

Definitely worth making the trip to this store.

Really good deals on products. More types of fish than I have ever seen in a store. Live fresh and frozen. Super weekly deals either 3lbs of frozen Bassa $4.99 this week

Clean, organized and a fantastic selection of sometimes hard to find international products. Mangos, jackfruit, aloe, sugar canes, baby eggplants, guava, banana leaves, etc.. - lots of interesting fruit and vegetables at decent prices. Great meat section with a butcher and wide variety of meat types and cuts including Halal. Fresh seafood area is modern and well stocked. Usually avoid these areas but this one was super clean. I dabble a lot with recipes from all over the planet and usually have to go to Mississauga or Brampton to find what I need. Not any more!

Wow this place is enormous has everything that you could possibly need and more for an ethnic market. Interesting fruits, vegetables, meat, noodles, sushi, pastries, bread and all under one roof. You can get lost in here 👍

Wow, I was blown away by the size of this market. Every possible fruit and vegetable available. They even have green and ripe plantains separetely. Loved the fresh seafood section. Stocked up on Latin food too, not just Asian. Prices were very reasonable. Will definitely add market to my regular shopping trips.

This City really needed a grocery store like this. Truly an international grocer. Great variety of produce and fruits from around the world. Halal meats and butcher available. Hot food here is so tasty. There's a seating area as well. No WiFi. Free Parking. Very Clean.

Ethnic Supermarket is the first Asian grocery store that I have been to. Recently, I have been getting into Asian style cooking. I found selection of products was useful and distinctive for my needs compared with a standard grocery store. I can get high quality sauces, spices, fruits, produce that I cannot get at other grocery stores. There are good deals on much of the produce. Comparatively, the popular Western produce I can get cheaper at FreshCo. But for popular Chinese produce- cabbage, mushrooms, bamboo shoot, bok choy, etc- they are better value. Impressive operation! Highly recommend, you can find products you cannot get elsewhere, especially if you are cooking Asian styled food!

Such an exciting addition to the city, we’ve been waiting for this for years! The store is clean, the staff are friendly, and the selection is top notch with fair prices. So excited to see the BBQ section!

Great shopping store, produce is amazing , so much and more throughout the store, a fresh fish/ crab/ lobster + room, hot food counter, butcher on site, I love this place and do 98% of my shopping there

Great Supermarket. Had all the fresh international veggies and fruits that I typically look for. There is a household cutlery lane and have everything you could imagine. There is a mini food outlet inside, and they serve a well cooked dish.

So many good things from all over. Jack fruit, lychee, Sio Pao, etc. the hot food counter is a good deal and a great selection. Fresh sushi so good. This place is amazing.
