Tian Phat Asian Grocery

I am so thankful to have this store in Halifax. I got all my supplies for Asian cuisine from here, including Penang Assam Laksa and other Malaysian and Singaporean recipes. I can find ingredients such as Vietnam Coriander, dried shrimps, and shrimp paste here.

Always an excellent experience shopping here. There are so many different products, and the prices are so reasonable. I travel from the South Shore just to come to Tian Phat.

This is a wonderful Asian grocery store which opened for a long time. It’s pleasant to slide by there to check what’s new and fresh each week.

We are driving more than. 1.5 hour to find this store, and I'm so happy to find Indonesian spices and stuff here, I wish you can add more Indonesian stuff here.

I really enjoy shopping here when I go toward Halifax. A must stop for me.

One of the best grocery stores in the region, would definitely recommend it. It is a bit cluttered and clumsy however has most regular items needed. Prices are on the higher side though.

I was looking for dim sum supplies for my family Christmas dinner and was not disappointed! They even had my favourite treat salted egg yolk buns. Also extremely helpful. I’ll be back often :)

Excellent customer service! I took my mother there today as she needed some supplies, my mother is very sick ( stage 4 terminal cancer ) the ladies in the store helped bag everything up and one of the ladies took my mothers other arm and helped me get her into the car from the store. You have no idea how much that meant and how much I appreciated your kindness. Thank you again!!! I will always be a loyal customer!

I absolutely love this store. I have been going here for years and when I come home for the summer it's a must stop several times during myestay. Lots of variety in produce, noodles, and other products. Prices are a lot higher than last year but I suspect it's due to having been closed by covid. I will continue to shop here. The people who own it are great and their daughters who work the til are very friendly.

Awesome selection of hard to find Thai and other Asian ingredients that no one else stocks. If ever you need help, just ask the older man and somehow, he’ll find whatever you are looking for. We try to stop in here on Thursday afternoon or Friday when the fresh produce is delivered. Seriously, it’s almost worth the two hour drive just to shop here.

Such great staff, very helpful and responsive on social media. Got my coffee and phin filter along with tons of frozen foods, produce and spices. Worth the trip especially for vegan fish sauce and other Vietnamese staples

My favorite asian grocery store. They have an excellent selection of kikkoman products and are the only place that I have been able to find ponzu sauce.

Their frozen section has a great selection of diffrent buns, dumplings, fish, squid and so on.

The carry a great selection of different cooking rice wines which is fantastic because the regular grocery stores carry none.

The staff are friendly, quick and competent.

This quaint little store has a treasure trove of Asian goods, wonderfully surprising treats to try and will inspire anyone looking to dig deeper into Asian cuisine. Find your favorite recipe items for all of those creations you have been eating from your favorite restaurant. If you haven't been here, you should really give it a try. I can't count the number of times I have been here. Until T&T Grocery finds a place in the maritimes, this will always be my go-to.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Place is full of stock with more being added. Great place to buy fresh veggies not easily found in regular grocery stores. If you are looking to try a new international recipe check here first for your ingredients; you will find most if not all that you need, and a few things you didn't know you needed. Don't be afraid to ask for advice or help.

Great Asian gorcery!

It's packed to the brim with a large variety of goods. From fresh to frozen.

Location is good as well not too far from Halifax downtown. Parking is sufficient for the size of the store although it is sometimes tedious to get out of the lot.

Staff are great! Friendly and helpful!

Love this place! The lady at the counter is always so nice and even though it's tightly packed and hard to move there are so many cool treats. They have the best egg roll skins and they have great prices on everything!

Great place. Found everything I needed. Good for ethnic vegetables or food for Asian people. There is a parking spot on the right side of the store. Problem is, it's on a busy road. The store is also congested enough , so that, difficult to do shopping comfortably. The two ladies run the shop are friendly. On case you don't find the right thing, they will find it for you or will keep it for you in future.
