Comfort Inn Halifax

Renovated rooms, very clean. Service was great. Hot breakfast was wonderful (eggs, sausage and ham, make-your-own waffles, coffee, juice). So good. Went for a visit to IWK. Worked well but traffic was slow in the morning at this location.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Comfort Inn Hotel, and I must say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home thanks to the warm and welcoming staff.
The check-in process was swift and efficient, leaving me with ample time to settle into my well-appointed room. Speaking of the room, I was incredibly impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail. The bed was cozy and inviting, guaranteeing a restful night's sleep.

One thing that stood out to me was the attention to guest comfort. The room was equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a spacious work desk, free high-speed Wi-Fi, and a flat-screen TV with a wide range of channels.

Each morning, I was treated to a delicious complimentary breakfast in the hotel's dining area. The selection was impressive, with both hot and cold options available. Specially Chocolate chip cookies. I appreciated the variety, as it catered to different dietary preferences and offered a great way to start my day.

The location of the Comfort Inn Hotel was also noteworthy.

As a project manager with a company that has crews that travel across Canada, I can say our experience with this hotel has been exceptional and above the typical standard. The level of service and accommodation we have received from the management team as well as all the employees who work at the hotel has been fantastic. I've stayed here 1 night, pretty much monthly since 2016 for work. It has been a great place to stay until Feb 2023. The room has been very dirty and stinky the last 3 stays. Staff are typically very friendly. I did go to the front desk this time and was told they had 1 room for $60 more than I was paying. Very disappointed.

I had a very nice stay at this Comfort Inn. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast had lots of hot and cold, sweet and savoury options.

It's pet-friendly, and there's an entrance to a huge nature park right behind the hotel. I found the off-season price to be reasonable.

Be aware that the Bedford Highway can get quite busy, and there's no sidewalk, so it's best to have a car or take the bus that's a short walk down the road.

Staff and management were super and went over and above to address our concerns from the room
The parent company really needs to work on hiring more staff as the current ones are being overworked to the point that they are not able to fulfill all the duties in the time allotted.
Also huge kudos to the kitchen/ breakfast staff who keep that hot breakfast fully stocked and delicious.

Very comfortable hotel, with pool and harbour view! The rooms were clean and concierge was very accommodating. Great value, and close to downtown Halifax.
Pro-tip: Always call hotels directly when booking to get the best rates!

Not sure what you'd expect from a hotel on the side of a Highway, the breakfast was good, the staff was friendly and great to talk to, lots of delivery options from Bedford for food so don't worry about not having much near there. There was a nice rocky beach across the highway to walk along and a convenience store and Korean fried chicken shop not far down the street.

The owners are friendly and takes pride owing the property The staff are very accommodating and pleasant and everyone there follow the covid rules.There are walking trails and a terrific view of harbour. As a long term stay the breakfast provided by hotel was good . It's a clean and budget friendly hotel. Easily accessible.

This hotel is in the Bedford section of Halifax. Its ideal location makes it a convenient place to stay when touring the city. The staff are super friendly specifically the front desk manager Colin was great . The room was extra comfortable. Overall, a great place. I would stay here again, for sure and recommend to all.

Quiet and clean hotel in a great location. We stayed in a 2 queen room. The breakfast really is worth the hype they put up on the front sign. There is also the Esquire restaurant right close that is a great spot to eat. The rooms are large and clean. They do not have walk in showers but they have a large tub in the room. Our room did not have a great view but there is a fantastic front porch with a beautiful view of the water where you can have drinks or smoke. The pool is quite small, mostly good for a short sit but not for laps or anything like that. Would definitely go back next time we are in Halifax.

I want to say thank you again to Sylvia for being so accommodating. I got there after midnight wanting a room after having a terrible experience with air bnb and she gave me cookies and made my night! Besides great staff it's very clean and modern with great amenities and location. Thank you :)

The Owners and staff are so friendly and accommodating! The room was very nice with all of the amenities that I could want. Excellent location with beautiful views. I would highly recommend this hotel! I will be back once Covid is over to try the gorgeous indoor pool. You will not be disappointed with your stay here.

It was very friendly and very clean. Breakfast was very good. Staff extremely helpful. We had free WiFi and it was very quiet and the parking was in excellent condition. We had a wonderful breakfast supplied with our stay overnight.

My favorite place to stay when in Halifax for a few days. Great value for your money. Super friendly staff, very clean and up to date rooms. Nice overall hotel and very handy to everything you need without being in the downtown core.

Stayed at comfort inn hotels many times. At one point with work, stayed 5 to 6 days a week for months straight. At times different locations. Never had an issue once. Rooms and area are in great shape. Always had amazing customer service and are always willing to help. Including the one here at the Bedford area. The receptionist helped me out greatly. Went above and beyond and won't forget!
