A “life changing experience”. Three very powerful words but fitting in regards to Bridgeview Dental. For years I struggled with “dental anxiety” and dreaded every trip to my dentist. Finally, I had enough and decided nothing could be lost in trying a different dentist, so I reached out to Bridgeview Dental solely based on their online reviews and…I was in for a shock. My hygienist, Roxana, was the most gentle hygienist I have ever experienced! Not once did she strike a sensitive spot and it was simply unbelievable. As she began to clean my teeth, I sat there fearing pain at any second and it simply never came. As I left in a state of euphoria I asked myself why I had suffered all those years when I could have been coming here. As I said, a life changing experience. Thank you Bridgeview.

I love these guys. I’ve had horrible dentist experiences in the past but Bridgeview Dental has made everything better for me. They are so kind and are very well aware of my apprehension. I kind of even like going to the dentist now. 🤪

Just had a filling done by Andrew Halpin. Such a competent dentist! Beautiful result ( front tooth). Perfect color match. Courtney, a dental hygienist, was top notch. She made a point of getting a price on a cleaning for me. I would have forgotten. Thank you for your excellent attention to detail Courtney!

Dr Murphy and the hygienists who support the work so compassionately are amazing. I had to have an extraction today, it was 22 minutes from my appointment time to when I walked out of the building. Amazing!!

I have extreme dental anxiety and have put off going for a few years. I finally decided to go and checked out Bridgeview Dental. Dr. Murphy and Melissa were phenomenal. They really made me comfortable with getting 3 fillings done at once and offered me great music for comfort. Highly recommend and will be back!

Dr. Murphy and his staff are consistently kind and courteous whenever I pay a visit to Bridgeview Dental. Cleanings and check-ups are always thorough and I’ve never had quicker appointments for fillings. On top of that, his use of local anaesthetic isn’t exaggerated which means you aren’t slurring your words for long. Give them a try if you’re in the market for a dentist!

The doctor and staff are professionals, kind good people. Parking is always available.

I have relatively complex dental requirements and without exception these are attended to at Bridgeview which was not the case at other clinics. Dr Halpin and his staff are professional ,courteous and friendly. The office staff are prompt and welcoming. The Hygienists are thorough and do a great job. Highly recommended!

I suffer from Scleroderma & Sjögren’s Syndrome and I cannot have a regular impression. In May before I was going to Halifax for Medical I googled Digital Impressions for Halifax. I picked Bridgeview Dental. So happy I did. Dr. Murphy and his assistant was able to complete a successful Digital Impression of my teeth.
The treatment I received from Dr. Murphy and his assistant and the office staff was superb. I was treated like a queen. For their kindness, patience & expertise I am now able to get the proper work done on my teeth that I need so badly. I would recommend Bridgeview Dental to everyone. They do their very best and go beyond expectations to please their patients.

I was a regular customer before moving to Europe in 2011, and know whenever I am in Halifax I schedule an appointment: although I have a good dentist in Europe, I much prefer the professionals at Bridgeview.

The polite and friendly staff got me in (as a brand new patient) since I had broken a filling the night prior. The office is clean and bright. The view I had in my examination room was incredible. My dentist and her assistant were both lovely. All of this, 2 blocks away from where I live. Happy to say, I have a new regular dentist for all my needs...Bridgeview Dental!

As a person with very little trust for dentist due to having very bad experiences as a child , I went here after a few months of being in pain with a tooth and I honestly had a wonderful dr. , great dental assistant. They both talked to me, gave me my options and explained everything to me. During the procedure of having the tooth removed they continued to ask if I was ok and comfortable. I would recommend Dr.Murphy to anyone.

I am someone who didn't go to the dentist for around 20 years, 5 years ago I came across Bridge-view dental out of necessity (getting married and my teeth were in horrible shape) The staff and dentists on site were extremely helpful, pleasant and accommodating. a number of times I have had to move my appointments pretty close to last minute or my bridge would have an issue and on a Friday afternoon before a long weekend they were still willing to help me and have my bridge fixed! I can't say how much i appreciate this dentist office and team, they treat me like family and I think of them in much of the same way!

Bridgeview has been taking care of my family’s teeth for years. We love the friendly, efficient staff and the welcoming atmosphere of the office. My kids have had their braces and wisdom teeth taken care of at Bridgeview, as well as all our regular hygiene appointments. It’s so nice to be able to do it all in one location!

I initially visited Bridgeview with a friend 6 years ago when she had wisdom teeth removed. I didn’t have a dentist in the city at the time but she had such a good experience that I made an appointment myself. They have helped with decay issues due to mouth breathing from allergies, and are always compassionate/patient when I visit. I travel a half hour just because they make visits a breeze!

We switched dentists and our daughter went here for the first time as an almost 8 year old. From the waiting room we could hear her keep on saying "This is amazing!" And that was while she was getting a filling done. LOL She is excited to go to the dentist now.
So needless to say the staff are incredibly friendly, great with kids, and know how to put people at ease during their time there. We'll definitely be returning.
