Foodland - St. Thomas

Great little grocery store, Foodland, hidden away at west end of St Thomas. Unfortunately, part of Sobey's and prices are a bit higher than Food Basics.

I recently moved to St Thomas, and having tried all the grocery stores, I honestly think this is the best and most enjoyable shopping experience. It is small and friendly but still has a good variety of product. Prices on some items are much better than the big chains. The best feature is that the parking lot isn't busy and you don't need to go near the First Street unpleasantness.

Fantastic customer service. Staff are knowledgeable and ready to help. Always lots of cashiers available... never more than one person in front of you in line. Prices are very competitive. I always spend less at Foodland than the large chain store across town. Open 6am - 11pm. A must try!!

We popped in to pickup a few items and naturally got more because it was so well organized and clean.

Probably my favourite grocery store in St Thomas. Their produce is exceptional, their meat department is awesome and their baked goods are fabulous. It's small enough that I do not need an electric cart to get through but big enough to hold everything I need from a grocery store.

Great place to shop, food very fresh, in such a really clean store and the check out staff are amazingly helpful.

This is a pretty good little grocery store. They have a rather small produce section, but the quality of the produce they have is amazing. They also have a wonderful section of baked treats.

Locally sourced fresh produce and meats, very courteous staff and the ability to give to the Foodbank is amazing! During Covid, Foodland created and maintained a safe shopping experience and has continued to provide their customers with top quality goods and service.

I shop here for store supplies for my business and for personal groceries and necessities. Awesome staff, clean appearance, covid practices in effect and great weekly deals!! Their striplion steak special is a must to watch for.

Foodland St. Thomas. Has the best customer service!!! They bag your groceries. They will even walk them out to your car. They play a big role in the community for food drives. The management team is outstanding. Keep buying local. Keep up the good work.

I try to understand why Foodland is still more expensive than all other grocery stores in St Thomas.I only shop here when i can find a item that cant be found in other stores.The other beef i have is coming into the parking lot i hit that driveway and its a wonder i dont lose my front end so get to the Mayor and let her know. Thanks

I love this store. The only downside is no PC points, but the staff is so friendly and they have a lot of great products. Big sale prices on meats!

I am very happy we have a supermarket in the West end. I have found the staff always friendly, the meat and baked products are superior, the atmosphere is charming and nostalgic, but the thing I like most is that I can park, get in the store and make the bread, milk, checkout circuit w/o walking 3 miles to accomplish it.

Nice store with great customer service..There produce is amazing. The meat department is well maintained and stocked always.. Good deals weekly.
