Beacon Electric

Our fridge decided to die just before the coming Easter weekend.
The first place we visited was Beacon Electric. The lady at the front desk was very busy but she made a concerted effort to answer our questions.
Due to Covid, the supply for appliances is tight but she told us that she would do her best to get a fridge for us. She asked one question that impressed me. "Are you without a fridge now?"
So we left there and continued to shop around. At one shop we were told that we could get a fridge by April 06. At others 2-3 months!

So we went home. At 3-PM we got a call from the lady at Beacon. They found a fridge for us and they would do their best to deliver the next day.

Sure enough we got our fridge late the next day. As the delivery men were leaving my partner said thank you for the quick delivery and for making the delivery outside the normal work day hours, (it was late in the day, well after 7-PM).
The delivery guy said, "we don't like to see people without a fridge".

Beacon Electric this store has awesome customer service friendly knowledgeable and helpful staff that go above and beyond to meet your expectations. They have a great selection of appliances all makes and models in store and if they don’t have it they’ll order it for you and their prices can’t be beat it’s a family run business which makes it so much more special it was our one and only stop shop we purchased fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher delivery and set up was phenomenal this business is top notch you’ll never get this outstanding service or warranties at big box stores would shop again and recommend them to anyone needing any appliances thank you for the wonderful service you provided to us! This little gem is my go to local appliance store … high quality Whirlpool products and the customer service is fantastic . The delivery guys set your appliance up completely and with attention to detail.. they don’t leave till it’s up and running. Highly recommend ! Buy local !

If you are looking for appliances in the Halifax area, the best place for home appliances is Beacon electric. We were immediately greeted by a sweet and friendly older lady who swooped in and took us under her wing. In business since the 70s it was obvious that she knew what she was talking about and probably is one of the original owners. Unlike the big name big box stores she started by asking us what we wanted and worked from her cheapest washer and dryer up to the one that met our needs. We walked away with a washer and dryer cheaper than the cheapest ones at the Sears outlet store or any of the other ones. Then she gave us the number on our receipt for warranty issues to call and frankly took care of us front to back. This is the best store in town for stoves, washers, dishwashers, etc. in town. Highly recommended!!!

I am so pleased with the service at Beacin Electric. I went on Wed. And bought a washer, and they werent gonna be able to deliver till the next Monday. Today (Saturday) I got a call to ask if I'd like it delivered this afternoon, (Um yes mam !) I welcomed it with open arms, after being without a washer since Monday. So big shout out to these delivery guys, they go ABOVE AND BEYOND the call of duty to help! Love my New Amana washer! It's so quiet! Thanks Beacon Electric! This is our 3rd appliance from Beacon Electric!

I visited the store today and met the sweetest older lady who gave me excellent service. While i was looking at fridges she was on the internet trying to look for what i wanted ...will definitely go back to buy my fridge. there.

Staff was very knowledgeable and worked hard to earn my business. They have a great selection and competitive pricing. Delivery guys did setup and test. Would highly recommend them.
