Came here thanks to a friends recommendation and they did not disappoint. The exterior of the restaurant is a cute yellow house and when you walk in, it has a very homey feel to it. Perfect for on a cold day and I noticed that they had a patio, which I assume is great during the summer. The place looks like it seats maybe 20-30 people, so it’s pretty small.

I ordered 4 of their plant based tacos and added cheese, which was cooked onto the tortilla - I would definitely recommend doing this as it levelled up the tacos! And yes, they have many vegetarian options here. I’d say my favourite was the Raja’s, but I had no complains about any of them. I believe it comes on a small corn tortilla, which they really pack up with toppings, so you should prepare to get your hands dirty. They were flavourful, lots of different textures going on (in a good way) and some were relatively simple. I will say for the size of the tacos, $5.5 (not including added cheese) per taco is a bit steep, but you’ll definitely leave content. My only wish was that when you added cheese, they would let it crisp up a bit more to add a crunch, that would’ve been amazing. As for my friend, he got a wet chicken burrito. It was very saucy and he enjoyed it, but it just looked like a basic burrito. Can’t speak much about it because I didn’t try it.

Overall, food was great, alongside the service and ambiance. If I’m in the area, I’d come back to try their other entree’s, but it’s definitely not one of those cheap Mexican eats. I actually think their prices are more on the steeper side. If you wanna see if it’s worth it, I’d say try it for yourself! I'd give this place a 4.5 star if I could solely for the price.

Love the flautas! After coming here several times and trying both chicken and fish the fish are my fave. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the lower mainland of all that I’ve tried.

We managed to get in off the wait list and sat in the heated garden patio. This little home converted to a Mexican restaurant is a fun experience. We ordered Cadillac margaritas and queso with chips to start...wow, were we glad we ordered singles because those drinks packed a punch! They were delicious, though! We ordered a chicken burrito and a brisket enchiladas. Both were yummy and so big we each only ate 1/2. Our bill wasn't too outrageous even with a 2nd round of drinks. It came to $150. We enjoyed our experience and plan to visit again.

Our first visit and certainly not our last. It's like visiting a friend who loves cooking authentic Mexican cuisine. We loved the atmosphere in the cute yellow house.
We had the chips and guacamole, brisket enchiladas Roja, and chicken toastadas. Everything was generous portions and the flavours were amazing. The Roja sauce was the right amount of spicy and smoky.
The classic margarita on the rocks, whiskey sour margarita and michelada drinks were delicious!

It was quite busy for lunch but the service was friendly and attentive. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Absolutely love this place. It's such a cute space, very well decorated. The whiskey sour margarita is amazing but quite strong. Also the churros are fantastic. They came out warm with a caramel sauce, yum. Will definitely be back!

What an amazing place. I could tell you about the food but it's obviously amazing. The service is just out of this world. Oh the drinks is a must. Not to sweet and strong! Worth every penny is that still existed.

Charming little house with indoor dining or garden patio dining. The food was authentic and took time to cook to perfection. Not a fast food- in and out restaurant. This is one to lounge and take in the atmosphere. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend the cocktails as well!

Awesome food, great drinks, TOP NOTCH service! This is truly an authentic Mexican restaurant in every sense of the word! Our server, Mauricio was amazing and made our evening very enjoyable. The private covered back patio was perfect for our dining party. I can't recommend this place enough. This will be our go-to for Mexican food from now on. No others in the area come close to comparison!

Beautiful authentic Mexican meal! Ate outside in their fun garden and enjoyed a really good margarita! All of our dishes were very good! The Mole sauce had so much depth an flavour! You could tell it was homemade! The skirt steak fajitas with cacti was fantastic! The burrito was stuffed full of roast chicken and other delicious ingredients! The prices are a bit higher than your average lunch but definitely reflect the ingredients ,quality and care put into your meal! We definitely felt it was worth the price! Wonderful to support a local family run restaurant!

Cosy and upscale Mexican Restaurant in Port Moody. Loved the queso fundido appetizer. Wet Burrito with salsa verde was delicious and filling.

My wife and I stopped in for a last minute dinner plan. Really cool place and atmosphere. It's in an old house so at first you wonder if you're at the right place.

Our server was awesome! They were really busy so food took a bit to come but our server got us more fresh chips which was awesome.

Food quality and taste was impeccable. Probably the best enchiladas I've ever had. Highly recommend!

I’ve eaten a lot of food in a lot of countries and one thing I’ve always lamented was that it’s been so hard to find good Mexican food on the coast, until now.
My wife and I ate at Originals this evening. The wait staff was excellent and hospitable, the atmosphere was homey and rustic and the food was so much better than expected. The last few places we’ve tried have been dismally disappointing but now that we’ve found Originals, we don’t have to bother looking anywhere else. The burrito Original (wet) and enchiladas suizas were amazing. The starters we tried, guacamole with chips and nachos were authentic and marvellous. We had three boxes of leftovers because the portions were larger than expected. It’s so nice to eat somewhere that serves solid portions at reasonable prices and the food is wonderful. Six stars.

They converted a single residential home into a restaurant and it has a very inviting and cozy atmosphere.

The food is authentic and their staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I recommend any of their tacos or burritos. I had their baked chicken dish that was new on the menu and it did not disappoint.

I would also highly recommend that you get the churros because the caramel was not overly sweet but still very rich which complemented the crunchy and sweet churros perfectly.

Overall, it’s a hidden gem in the lower mainland and I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a friendly, open restaurant that serves fantastic Mexican food!
