Johnny B was recommended by friends and wow, it did not disappoint!!
Ginger Beef appetizer was excellent. The Salmon bowl and Chicken stir-fry were also excellent. Not your traditional Pub food, much better. Also great happy hour specials and great service!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

74 taps and flights available, what not to like? Awesome tuna burger and very friendly staff. Karaoke night on Sunday to go with the whole day Happy hour.

Came here for brunch with my husband, I got the Seoul bowl, he got the eggs Benedict. The bowl was delicious, highly recommend.

This is literally the best pub/restaurant I have ever been to. I don't care if you have tickets to France for wine pairing with steak & lobster, sell them and go to John B's, it's better. I've had almost everything on the menu, my favourites are either of the bao buns & the tuna burger.

The staff are also the friendliest people on the planet, every server I've had is professional and very kind. Do yourself a favour, go to John B's, sit on the patio, and I guarantee you will have a great time. Don't forget to order a side of Sneaky Pete, it's unreal.

It has been a while since we were last here (we've moved to Kelowna) but you can always be sure of great food and drinks at the John B. The selection of draft beers is excellent (we love good IPAs) and the food exceeded expectations. We ordered some appetizers to share:
Ginger Beef - crispy beef tossed in honey ginger sauce on a bed of crispy egg noodles topped with pickled peppers and served with lettuce wraps.
Spicy Pork Wonton - steamed and served in a Szechuan inspired chili sauce.
Butter poached garlic prawns on a bed of crispy vermicelli and fresh basil and chili oil.

Always a pleasure at our neighborhood pub. The outdoor seating was wonderful on a sunny day, and the drinks were delightful! I am also overjoyed to find Crab Rangoon!

This is such an amazing pub. I have been here on several occasions and get great service every single time. All the staff is absolutely wonderful. There was one time I was standing outside not aware that they weren't open for another 30 minutes and the young male host with blond hair came outside to make sure that I was okay - that was so so sweet and I honestly appreciated it cuz it was really cold outside. The John B Pasta with the white wine sauce is really good and the Aperol Spritz has just the right amount of refreshment and hydration. All around it's a very very nice establishment nice comfy and cozy.

Local pub serving asian influenced pub food. The day we went there was a fundraiser & silent auction going on with live music so the room was very busy with conversations. A HUGE selections of quite yummy drinks. We had a burger with curry potato soup, kimchi fries, and poke wonton nachos. All of which were interesting and quite good.

Awesome place to hang out with your friends and have a few drinks. Happy hour menu is reasonable and the food is very good. Can get very busy so we need to be patient. But it's worth the wait.

It feels great to have a solid neighborhood bar. This place is pretty big, especially when the patio is open, yet it can be very tricky to get in as it is popular with locals. If you are looking for a good sports bar, this place is right for you – plenty of screens with different sports. The food is pretty good as well, a step above your usual pub grub. From everything we've tried so far, I'd say the wagyu beef burger was a bit more on the rare side than I usually would prefer it, but other than that, it is all good. And it's hard to beat 45c Monday wings special! But the variety of beers available is what makes this place notable for me. They might not have advertised 86 taps since a few beers I was interested in were not available, but I should say that what is available is enough, and I can hardly imagine that you would need more. Some great brews on the menu. On all of our visits, the staff was nice and attentive. I like this place.

Excellent neighborhood pub! It has an excellent selection of beers, and ciders on tap as well as a large variety of pub food. My favorite kind of pub food is asian fusion and this place delivers. Must try the pork belly Baos, the spicy wonton and the ahi tuna nachos. All day happy hour on Sundays!

It is the best place to unwind from my weekend. Fresh draft beer, salad, and chicken wings. The Friday night local live band music is really good. I recommend you to come and see it.

A stable in the neighborhood. Good food, music and vibes. Beers on tap are decently priced. Always a good time.

Good location, fair prices, friendly staff and deadly Ceasars. Came here for the first time, had the nachos and calamari, seriously best nachos I've ever had, every layer has cheese and toppings instead of everything being dumped on the top, the calamari was perfectly cooked and the breading was the perfect ratio and it didn't taste doughy like some other places.
For their breakfast I highly recommend their chorizo hash.

I’ve frequented John Bs for almost a year now, and every single time I go in it feels like home. Every staff member is wonderful, the food is always great, and they’ve got awesome happy hour specials. I’m from a small town on vancouver island and it was really hard for me coming to the mainland to start something new. When I was introduced to this pub it immediately made me feel like I was back home where everyone was so friendly. I love the staff, I love the dance floor, I love the ginger beef, I love the John B!

This place never fails to amaze me. The food is simply top notch, wide selection of beverages is just great. This time we tried the salad and pasta, they are just as good as their wings. I always want to come back to try more options from both the food and the beverage menu!

Service was great, steak was really good for the price but the star of the meal were the roasted vegetables that come with the steak. I'm getting seconds next time lol.

Great place to meet friends and have awesome pub food. Live music can be awesome. Especially if @stevehalfnights performs. The Austin Heights burger is a must try. Excellent service every time we have been there.
