Blue Mountain Park Reviews

My cat is obsessed with this place! She makes me walk her to the park every day. Most of the dog parents are responsible and have their dogs on leash, but, occasionally, we encounter disrespectful dog parents who let their dogs roam around and don't bother to have them on leash. If you have a cat, I do recommend this park.

Lots of tall trees make this park very inviting. Plenty of space and equipments for kids, including a spray fountain, playground and wading pool. You can also find interesting stone sculptures dotted around the park. Ample car parking all around.

Great for kids! Playgrounds for toddlers and older kids, water spray park, wading pool with life guards on duty, kids bike path with mini road signs for practice (see my photos). Clean washroom, good amount of free parking around the park. Ice cream stand during summer. Lots of trees so plenty of shades.
Only improvement I can suggest is to add more picnic tables

A fantastic park not far from the city, with lots activities can do for both kids and adults. Picnic under the shades, water spray park, climbing gym, walking trails, scooter/bike track and these two lovely life-sized horses to ride on or take pictures with. My kids had blast, could stay all day.

I've been coming here ever since I was a kid, and have many incredibly fond memories attached. From the children's bike "road", to the large pretend horses, to the playground equipment, to the trees. It's an incredibly large park with a lot of diversity to show, and my favourite of all, many stone sculptures all brought upon by a project from 1986! Most of them are still in lovely condition, minus time based weardown from rain / otherwise. You can get a beautiful view of the horizon, and there is a children's pool for the summertime. I see no reason to dislike Blue Mountain Park, and I think you'll feel the same!
I realize that the pictures I posted don't include the playground. Come explore, it's a more than child friendly environment!

How many trees should a park have? This park wins! Lots of shade and picnic tables. Street parking. When those humid days hit, it might be crowded. Adjacent spray park and playground for the kids plus Coquitlam's last wading pool. Been coming here since the 60s. Thanks City of Coquitlam!

This park has everything. With lots of modern equipments to entertain your little one. They have swimming pool and a volunteer lifeguards. This pool is only for kids. They have 2 big picnic outdoor spaces for rent that can accommodate 500 person. There is one picnic space which is free. It is a great place to celebrate birthday or get together.

Great community park, very busy on most days. I like the tall trees and the picnic area and they ample space for families to gather.
It’s also a great Pokemon Go location with many things happening here in the game at this park.

This is the best outdoor park. Has a water park and a kiddie pool( 2-3 ft deep) and is free of charge. Also has a concession stand, bathrooms and ample space to grab a spot on the grass or picnic tables. Lots of parking as well. Lots of sun and shade spots as well. All in all a great family park. :)

Very wonderful place, just for a walk. Nature is inside the city

Not large but good sized with a treed section, a large open area and a playground. Lots of parking. Public washroom in the park. The city hall is in the process of redesigning the park. And for good measure, there are 4 Flo level 2 EV chargers for $1/hr for 2 hours.

This is a fantastic park in winter. The snow in the trees was very lovely, and the playground was great, even in the cold.

Great place for walking and plus I did not realize until recent that this park is sort of like a memorial park. It is great place when you just want quiet walking place. Also, some people might find funny and laughable but their park board once sold hotdog during the summer months alongside the kid's swimming pool area, that hot dog was one of the best (big wiener) hot dog that I have had in awhile.
