Shiraz Farm Market and Halal Meat

We have so many Iranian Supermarkets in Vancouver, in comparison to some other cities and countries. And to stand out in such a saturated market, you need to go the extra mile.

I've shopped from almost every single Iranian Supermarket in the Tricities area and I can confidently say these guys are the best out there in terms of product variation, freshness of the produce, price range and most importantly customer service which is notably lacking within their competitors.

A few months ago, I got into the habit of comparing the prices from Shiraz VS. Other shops of the similar size in the area, and Shiraz' always came out cheaper by $1-$3 in comparison to others for the exact same product .

They really have everything I need in stock.
They have an acceptable environment and always welcome me happily.
All items are neatly placed on the shelves.

Overall I have been happy with them to date and have always left the store satisfied.

The staff are nice and they have a good selection of products for the square footage.
It can be a bit daunting if you don't know what you are looking for as its not labeled the best and not everything is in English(they do have a clientele they cater to), but i like it as I was able to experience stuff I never tried before.

It's nice to be able to get some of these products you can't get anywhere else.

They are very well behaved and customer oriented. You can always find everything you need in this supermarket. Customer respect and satisfaction are important to them, and compared to other Canadian stores, their prices are more reasonable. I live in QC and I went to Shiraz supermarket to buy the sour cherry because we don't have the sour cherry in Montreal ( there is some but rare to find, it's rare).
But we found there lots of amazing and delicious Iranian food, snacks, bread , spices, herbal tea,hebal essences and etc.
The owner and workers are perfect.

Friendly and helpful staff!
They were out of fresh mixed koobidah, but the butcher hand carved the meat and ground up the veal and lamb; he also mixed the spices and onion for me! It took some time, but it was worth the wait.
Another person helped my husband pick out a better melon. I haven't had this type of service anywhere!
I will definitely be back! :)

The ambiance of the store is warm and inviting, making you feel like you've stepped into a corner of Iran. Shiraz is a great pleac for anyone interested in Persian products.

It is a very nice Iranian fresh market. staff are polite and friendly. the store is clean and well organized and the staff are honest about the quality when you ask about it.
It has been 3 years that I am doing my Persian shopping here and I am definitely satisfied.

Absolutely satisfied with their tomatoes I purchased today. Real fresh, awesome price. Even though it wasn't a big batches but I could and will come back to purchase more. As far as tomato goes, this place will be my only trusting place from now on. Thank you (to owner). From now on I will only purchase tomatoes from this place only.

You can find varieties of rice, nuts, teas, spices, baked bread & cookies, syrup, jam, and whatever persian flavor you can imagine. The staff are always polite and friendly. It feels like home 🛒😊
By the way! Buy more than 100 dollars, and you'll get Saffron for free.

Shiraz market has variety of fresh products, whatever you need! The store is tip top and owners/staffs are super friendly. Much nicer than other Persian stores in lower mainland.

The place might not look super modern but the staff here are very friendly and helpful. We have had an amazing experience with the locally backed sweets that they sell and seasonal fruits. If you are looking for anything Persian that you have missed from home, this is the place to find it!
