Amazing donuts here!!! I was already happy with the raised donuts that were just the right amount of sweetness. The cake donut did not disappoint as well. We would definitely return. The only odd thing was the payment where it seemed like they preferred cash payment but still accepted credit cards.

I've never been to this donut vender and I was impressed with the simplistic way in which they sell donuts. This isn't Timmies peeps..this is 'BOXCAR DONUTS St Thomas on 24 First St unit 3 at Wellington Rd. You'll see the sign and want to know. What are Boxcar Donuts like? Would Homer Simpon eat them?..HECK YA! I have photos and video so peeps can see what a superior donut their getting. Now I will admit there a bit pricey(3 to 6 dollars). However, your getting solid donut satisfaction. It's not like being promised a dream donut with no dream donut filling pay off. NO! Your getting soft, fresh spongy donut goodness in every bit. The donuts( 4 of them)and coffee came to aboot 20$. Aly, the Boxcar Donut professional behind the counter made my first Boxcar Donut experience one that I will be repeating often. Aly explained the donuts you see is it. Twenty different kinds made daily and they change from day to day. Outstanding! I luv variety and surprises. The donuts are the prize winner style donuts. Impeccable, fresh, and best consumed day of purchase to truly enjoy them the way they should be. Service is always with a smile. The staff are fantastic! Great spot!

Okay, so I'm not typically a donut or coffee person, but I'm totally OBSESSED! our family loves this place! In addition to the friendly staff, my favorite is an off menu item, which is a must try! It's an iced sugar-free caramel latte with almond milk. This thing is so good that I've now gotten 6 other friends hooked on them. Then we get into their next level donuts. It's in their name, their nut!!!! So good! A MUST TRY! You won't regret it!

Freshest donuts I have ever had in my life. Already a gigantic fan. Not your cheapest option but, when you consider the quality of donut, it balances out. It's a treat - not an every day purchase. Absolutely amazing. Have been something like 4 times already and will continue to come back. Best in the region!!

Small and Quant donut shop. Great customer service. Selection of tasty doughnuts.. offers indoor dining. Ample parking.
Prices are reasonable and affordable.

This place has some wild donuts. Some are just what you'd expect but then you get a strawberry fritter and it blows you away. So good.

The best Cinnamon bun I have ever had. If you get the chance for the mix berry cinnamon bun get it!.
Boxcar, please make the cinnamon bun an everyday option.

The donuts are always top tier, we ordered a tower for a local grand opening and Kari and her team knocked it out of the park! And bonus, they’re just as delicious the next day.

Wow! Such delicious donuts and the flavours are so inventive! Maple French toast and butterscotch truffle, insanely good. Can't wait for my next visit!

Best donuts I’ve had! I moved from Hamilton, a city that had many fancy donut options and none were as good as these! The flavour options are fantastic and have loved every donut I’ve tried. I don’t understand the negative reviews. Tim Hortons are not even in the same league as these guys! Yes they are not the same price but boxcars quality is worth the cost to have such a better donut! Also with the hours I find it very reasonable. They give you the option to pre-order and say they are open till 4 or sell out. You just need to remember it’s a bigger gamble what is available later in the day. That doesn’t warrant a bad review it shows how good they are and how many people love them. I am so thrilled about this location and rave about them to my friends! Freshest donuts ever!

St. Thomas all of a sudden has a lot of options for quality sweets and I would put this place at the very top of the list. Their donuts are unreal, they have a unique variety that is ever changing as well as a whole row of staples that will far surpass your expectations of what a donut should be.
You don’t get that icky “fake” aftertaste from these donuts that you might get from a chain, the icing and filling is top notch. Every donut is carefully crafted to stimulate your tastebuds and take you to donut heaven.
Great job folks! We all need to support the heck out of this place so they stick around forever. ❤❤❤

I love donuts. Haha, I'm so happy they opened a location in St. Thomas, even though I try not to go too often. The donuts were fresh and abundant. I went maybe around 3 on the Friday of Easter weekend. Some flavors were sold out, but I got an easy dozen assorted. I also ordered a matcha latte, but I obviously don't know how to order drinks there bc I didn't ask for any additional shots or sweeteners, not knowing I would need to. The latte was completely unsweetened, just matcha and milk. But still fresh. The guy at the cash could've had a little more friendliness, but the lady was exclaimed, you could tell.

Tried multiple flavors of the donuts they are incredible!!! So delicious. The coffee was good but not as good as I expected, the picture on the website had way more whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Great staff!

Love their donuts! I used to go to the London location, so I am very pleased that there's a location here in St. Thomas. Straight up, you gotta go early. They've just had their grand opening last weekend, so the novelty is still there. I went on Sunday around noon (their second day open) and they sold out of donuts before 1pm. I think when things calm down they won't sell out as early. Their drinks are good too, but let's be honest, I'm there for their donuts. Check their Instagram for the specials of the week. They have very unique flavors and flavor pairings. I tried their Mango Habanero, it was good just not spicy at all. Their apple fritter is gooooood 🤤

Amazing donuts. Friendly staff. When you’re doing small batch, artisan baking you’re going to be limited to the amount you can produce. Each donut is hand decorated - it’s not coming off a line in a factory, par baked and stale by the time it gets to you.

Just remember that. St. Thomas asks for these small businesses to come to us, but then complain when they are successful and out of stock! Be kind. There will be a huge demand and they always offer the option to pre order with beautiful photos on their website

The staff where honestly the sweetest and most friendly people! I usually don’t write google reviews, but I love supporting local and these donuts hit the spot! Lots of interesting flavours and positive atmosphere.

Fantastic donuts! Love the different varieties! The quality and size of the donuts is well worth the cost. Donuts are always fresh. This will be the only place I go for donuts.
