Fantastic cabaret-style live music venue. They go out of their way to make all the seats great places to take in whatever talent is performing. Lovely food. You may find it a little cramped, but only because it's the place to be.

What a great venue. Never having been, we didn't know what to expect. Not a huge place which was great for the band we went to see. Clean and modern. Table service was excellent and the food we had was really good. This first experience turned us into regulars.

Went here to see a Shania Twain Tribute band named Honey I'm Home, such an amazing night! They were fabulous, as well as the staff and atmosphere! The staff were super friendly and helpful - it felt like they really liked their job/ it is a positive work environment. The drinks were also great 👍

Absolutely love this place! Such an awesome place to enjoy live music. Prior to the show we enjoyed a great meal. Must try the nachos to share. The fish tacos and curry chicken are our go to plates.... always tasty! The serving staff are awesome too... very friendly and super attentive. Seeing Matt Andersen is always a treat. Love to see him with a full band with him. Didn't know that stage could handle 9 musicians! This venue is a gem in the region.

If you want to feel like a VIP who has been invited to an exclusive event to discover delicious food, and amazing up and coming artists, some established too, then this is the place to go.
Atmosphere = So amazing, surreal, cozy, just perfect.
Food = There is nothing on the menu that isn't 100% cooked and prepared to perfection. Everything is fresh and wonderful.
Music = If you're lucky enough to snag a ticket to ANY event at Trailside, no matter the genre or artist, you're going to be blown away at this whimsical up close and personal platform where you truly get to be right close to the artist and the acoustics are perfect.
Staff = The staff alone deserve 5 stars. The most polite, professional, attentive people
I wish I could eat dinner here every single night!!! Thank you for a wonderful evening of delicious food and great music by Dylan Menzie.

We were travelling through the area and this happened to be close to us and we wanted to check it out. Unfortunately it was sold out for the David Francey show but when we turned to leave the owner/manager offered us their picnic table, served us there and even brought bug spray. We got to hear the music from an open window and after our meal he invited us in to stand by the bar and enjoy the music. Wonderful food and beer and really great hospitality. Highly recommend! Great vibes all around.

Went to Trailside for food and drinks with some friends. We were offered free tickets to the live show that night because there were some no-shows. It was an awesome experience! Great atmosphere, staff, food, and drinks. Will definitely be back.

It was a wonderful night of music and good food at the Sean McCann concert last night. The lobster roll special was delicious and priced right and Sean had the audience singing along to many Great Big Sea songs. A great time was had by all of the sold out crowd.

Music hall was cool and drafty. But the rest of the venue was excellent! Highly recommended Trail Side for music events.

Awesome place. They bring in top notch artists (especially considering it's such a small venue in a small village). Great atmosphere to grab a drink and a bite to eat and listen to vinyl. Don't go through Mt. Stewart without dropping in.

We're big fans of the Trailside Cafe. We try and get there when were in PEI 2 or 3 times in the summer. Never had a bad meal or entertainment. Most entertainment is Atlantic Canada based and the performances are always intimate and memorable. I highly recommend the Trailside. My only caution is to book early because many shows sell out.

Great venue. We stubbled upon this by chance. We were treated to live local music and good beer. I would go out of my way to visit again. Looking forward to trying their menu next time. Hopefully the times have been adjusted on Google maps...

Magical bucolic music venue/cafe/inn housed in the island’s first Co-Op bldg dating back to 1937 located 30 mi outside Charlottetown.

This is a special wee place to catch a show by some of Canada & beyond’s best artists.

With only 75 seats, the vision of the owners is to create an intimate setting where musicians feel at home and the audience is left awestruck.

Mission accomplished!

The cafe serves up some of the island’s tasty items including fresh seafood like halibut, fish cakes & mussels plus burgers, tacos, salads and charcuterie plates that are all farm-to-table fresh and high quality.

Bar includes beer, wine and some spirits.

There’s also a 4 room inn upstairs which looks amazing.

Shows sell out quickly so best to buy tix in advance.

If you love music, do NOT miss this experience!
