I am a regular customer of this store but today I was having issues with the cash machines in self check out , a girl named Herlin really helped me throughout. She is really polite. Other workers are good too. Really liked it , will come back.

The concept of Value Village is new for us, we don't have such organizations. We are used to selling second hand stuff too, but the culture is different. I admired this approach. What I found baffling is there is a security guard in Value Village but not in banks.

Lots of stock, just picked up a pair of Lg snow pants and a firefly board coat in excellent condition for $48.00. New, the item is expensive, the pants could have been a wee bit cheaper, but they're in good shape...so...

I have to commend all of value village staff for keeping the store so clean even on weekends when there is so much rush. They're always friendly and welcoming with a smile on their faces. 5 stars for hospitality and cleanliness.

As far as reuse stores go, this place has a lot of products to choose from. Only things that could improve upon is lower pricing since all their products have been supplied free to them. It seems, to me, that many items are priced relative to their pricing new and cut in half (even though they're obtained free of charge). Of course, items valued much higher will cost even more (thanks to the internet, everyone with access knows what items are worth).
The other improvement would be to have a chunk of their incredible profits go towards charity. I don't know if it happens, but the workers should share in overall store profits as well. Would help increase the workers loyalty, hard work, and peace of mind knowing they are sharing their employers profit.
These are just my thoughts.

I go there when I need to shop for cables and accessories for electronic devices. So easy and quick to find if they have what I need, as all the cables, adapters etc. are displayed on hooks at the rear (southwest corner) of the store. My most recent purchase was an HDMI cable. I was in and out in under 3 minutes.

Value village has all your clothing and household needs! As someone who frequents second hand shops frequently I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of items sold here. The clothing consisted of clothing people actually would want to wear, not clothing that looks like your 90 year old grandma who never got rid of anything donated. The household section had a decent quality too, and the items I've purchased have been of much use! The staff here is helpful and it is definitely worth stopping to take a look before you go buy something new!

I bought a brand new pair of GUESS Jean's (tags still attached), and they charged me $10.49. Also bought a leather speed bike jacket for $39.99, now this same jacket retails for $399.99. I was the OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR there for 4 years and there's nothing at all they don't have or will have eventually!!!

As a fan of second-hand stores, it's always good to find good ones. This place has selections or clothes, books, jewellery and it's all very well organized. I even managed to find some really neat boardgames and books.
