Montana’s BBQ & Bar

We had a wonderful night as we celebrated my wife's birthday. Food is great, atmosphere is great and our server is great as well. Hats off to Caitlyn for taking care of us!

Wasn't much a fan the last several years of Montanas except for their salted caramel deserts they got rid of 🥲 however, the last few times we went were absolutely divine! Great food, great portions, SUPER happy we were offered to wait in our car for a text message for seat availability, food was cooked perfectly. Great experiences

Great service! It's a busy spot but the service is dead on. We had a server named Kirsten who gave us great suggestions on what to order, right down to the desert.

The food was good, reasonable portions. I'm not sure why I thought they would be larger portions here- but I was really happy that it felt like just enough without being too too stuffed.

I had the luxury of going into Montana’s for supper tonight, and not only was our food great, but we had a wonderful server named Sophia. She came and greeted us all with a smile, and had great conversation along with taking our drink/food order. Any questions we had on the menu she was very helpful and knowledgeable and got exactly what we wanted. She came back a handful of times to make sure we were good and happy with our meals. Very personable and a great sense a humour, bubbly and a sweet server. Thankyou Sophia for the great service, we will be back. - The Twins and the clan. 😁

Great food, great service, great atmosphere, and caters to children with a giant table cloth that is made out of paper that the kids can draw on. It keeps my kids busy the whole time. Are there and their prices can be a bit high. But for the most part, they're reasonable, and they change the menu quite a bit. So it's not always the same thing. But they always have something very close if you like something specifically. For example, I had chicken tenders. The last time I was there was a Caesar salad. Before, I used to get chicken bites with cooked onion rings. Those were small on top, like onion flakes, deep fried. And they were very tasty, but they were on this dish, but it didn't. Make me enjoy it less. I still loved the chicken and the breading. It was very good and the Caesar salad was always good. And still is.

When we arrived there was confusion about our table being ready so we waited a bit longer. We were a group of 7 (5 adults, 2 children) so needed a larger table or booth. When we were first sat, it was a booth but we were very squished. My daughter (whose 9th birthday we were celebrating) was pretty much falling off the end of the seat. We were frustrated but were told there wasn’t another option other than being sat at 2 separate booths. We chose to stay where we were and the staff were apologetic. Very shortly after, a manager came over and they were able to find another booth that would accommodate a chair on the end. I wanted to write a review to show my appreciation for excellent customer service on a very busy night for the staff. Too often, we don’t give credit when it’s due so I wanted to give a big shout out to the Charlottetown Montana’s staff tonight!

We had the most amazing experience last night at Montana’s in Charlottetown. There were 6 of us dining and we all argued that OUR dish was the very best one. (I had the fish and chips which was a group favorite; it was savory, crispy and cooked to perfection!) Despite the family banter, what we could all agree on was that our waitress, Jenn, was the most incredibly kind, helpful, energetic, friendly, sweet, and fun waitress part of our evening. She remembered my mom, a pretty regular patron, and engaged in playful conversation as she served us our delicious dishes. Long story short…we’re back at Montana’s tonight and lucky to have Jenn as our server. Food didn’t disappoint!!!

Our waitress Jen was super amazing and helpful! Even brought my daughter bandaids when she needed them!! She was fun and up beat. Best waitress I’ve had in long time!!

Nice restaurant, great service. The food was good. Most of us ordered steak, and we were all happy with our meal.

It is rather noise. Therefore, it is hard to carry on a conversation. I found myself cupping my ear, trying to hear what our friends were saying to me. Not fun, but we made the most of it.

Everything was perfect especially for my bahamian taste buds.

Loved the atmosphere and our service was excellent. My son and husband had the bison burger with toppings from the firecracker burger, Laura had the potatoe skins as well as the tomatoe basil soup and I had the smothered mushroom chicken with rice and vegetables. We all very much enjoyed our meals.

We love Montana's. Its been our go to restaurant since they opened in Charlottetown. It has a wonderful atmosphere, friendly service, and the food is always delicious,. We enjoy it for family meals out and special occasions.

We went in a bit early for lunch (11:40) and had to wait a moment to be seated. We were looked after by a friendly young waitress. Our lunch was well prepared, tasty and nicely presented. We have been there a number of times and the experience has always been good.

The Establishment was clean. the staff friendly and knowledgeable .food was great. service was great. overall, a good experience.

We come to Montanas at least once a week. The servers are great. We have Emily for a lot of our visits and she is incredible. Very funny and knowledgeable. Makes dining here very enjoyable.

Jenn is absolutely amazing. Everytime my family goes there we hope we are in her section. Absolutely love her!
