They are very accommodating, was suppose to only be there for 8 days and ended up having to extend 3 more nights with 2 med large dogs, and they were more than happy to let us extend, anything we needed they were happy to help. They did what they could so my stay with the 2 timid dogs as stress free as possible!

We showed up on a Saturday night expecting 12 of my sons friends to show up for a birthday party, only to find out I accidentally booked the wrong type of suite. One not overly suitable for that many kids and a birthday party. Talk about last minute panic. The staff were extremely helpful, offered up the restaurant to use since it was closed for the night. They allowed us to have full range of the restaurant to host the party, even though I’m sure the kids running around and screaming was distracting for them being next to the front desk, and maybe a little hard on the head! They never once complained, and as soon as the suite became available from a cancellation, they came to let us know and switched us no problem - while allowing us to still use the restaurant. Extremely grateful and pleased with the wonderful service.

Honestly, before the trip had read some reviews and they had left me concerned, however upon arrival all my worries were wiped away. The room was perfect, everything we needed and more, it was amazingly comfortable, we could barely hear anything outside good sound proofing, so restful sleep also really liked the blinds they have could have all the light of a beautiful day with the needed privacy of a second story room with a building across the street or even completely block out the light of your not aiming for an early morning. Breakfast was on point something for everyone and some pretty comfortable seating in the dining area.
The exercise and swim area was amazingly well maintained and the pool was kept to a very comfortable temperature, so no need to play one toe at a time to get in AND the slide was super fun, and deceivingly long great for little and big kids such as my self, I went down many times 😂

Some rooms are updated. On arrival we had an issue with shower and were promptly moved to another room. Friendly, professional and accommodating. Located within walking distance to fast food and dine in restaurants and a walmart. Great highway access and 20 minutes to old Charlottetown. Breakfast was very nice too!

Had two great nights at the hotel! Breakfast was good, Staff was polite, cheerful and courteous, even at 1:00am arrival!
Fall decor is superb.
Beds are SO comfy with no complaints coming from us!

Was my first time staying here. Staff were very friendly and easy to chat with. The hot breakfast in the morning was a wonderful addition to the stay. My only little detail that I will speak about, was that during our stay the pool was VERY heavy in chlorine, to the point that it was burning the eyes and skin on my daughter and wife, and to the point where it was actually a bit hard to breath when you were in the pool. I get it, it was smack in the middle of tourist season and they wanted to make sure that water was treated a little extra, buts its still something to keep in mind when you stay. Rooms were very clean and well kept, location was easy to find and had everything you would need within 10min if not closer.

Surprisingly pleasant hotel. Very clean. Bed is very comfy. I love the location. Close to the bus stop and the bars. Highly recommend it.

I went to PEI from Nova Scotia with my 2 young children, teen and my husband. I have never ever been more comfortable in a hotel. We stayed 3 nights in the family suite with 2 queen beds, living room, seperate bedroom with bunk beds, 3 tvs with cable, 2 air conditioners, mini fridge, microwave and lots of windows for fresh air. It was immaculate, stocked with all of the toiletries you could ever need as well as the AMAZING make up wipes that I'm now obsessed with. The beds and bedding was extremely clean and beyond comfortable. I'm literally looking up the type of bed now to get myself one. I have spine issues and it's the first time I've woken with low low pain in years! . The pool is beautiful (a little deep for a toddler) and the gym was very well equipped! . Lots and lots of parking. It's very very quiet even with a pet next door I didn't hear a thing in my suite. Nobody comes to bother you, not even housekeeping. The hot breakfast was SO DELICIOUS and offered a huge array of different foods suitable for anyone!!!!!!!!! The entire stay at Rodd royalty was 5 star +. If I go to pei again I'll not stay anywhere else but here. Worth every penny.

We loved staying in this hotel! Great location, clean rooms, comfortable beds, game room, swimming pool and nice service. The breakfast is basic, typical for a such hotel.
The things I would improve: we were five people and we needed an extra cot for the 5th person. They gave us a nice cot, BUT we found absolutely no space to put it in our room. So finally one of us had to sleep two nights on a mattress on the floor.
Hash browns taste horrible LOL Otherwise it’s very good 😊

On a recent vacation we had one night scheduled to stay at the Rodd Royalty before continuing on with our travels. Unfortunately, due to unanticipated mechanical issues with our motorcycle, we ended up staying for seven nights. This was between the dates of June 22nd to June 29th. I cannot tell you enough about how the front desk staff went above and beyond in helping us out. They were supportive in helping us arrange transportation, and did everything in their power to ensure we had a room each night at a great price, even when the hotel was booked to the brim. Whoever runs this hotel should be proud of the front desk staff. Additionally , the staff at breakfast was kind the helpful, keeping the eating areas always clean. The breakfast served each day kept us full and happy. If I had any recommendation, it would be to rotate the meat choices more frequently and get new types of potatoes. The cleaning staff did a good job each day with our room. The hotel did require a bit of maintenance and some updating, however, they were fixing it while we were there. The beds are really comfortable, and the showers were really nice. The pool looked great and we saw a lot of kids having fun there and in the game room. They have a typical laundry facility onsite which was a plus. Overall, a nice place. It isn't necessarily the most prime location in Charlottetown, but if you have a car, it is a quick 5-10 minute ride into downtown.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very reasonably priced for the location so we didn't have high expectations. The room was beautiful! It had a separate lounging area. The beds were extremely comfortable and it had a cute little breakfast nook.
The hotel had a beautiful pool area with a water slide as well as a fun little game room for the kids!! Highly recommend!

Our one night stay here at Rodd Royalty was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean with no issues. Very comfy King bed and pillows. Bathroom is a bit outdated looking but nothing made me skeptical about using it.

Complimentary hot breakfast was very good as well. Home fries, scrambled eggs, sausage. Also had what I think was a pancake making machine, as well as toast, cereal, muffins, yogurt, mixed fruit salad and juices and coffees. Complimentary water bottles were a nice added touch.

Convenient location within 10 minute drive of the airport, walkable distance to restaurants, grocery and other shopping, and a short drive to downtown. Overall a great stay, and would come back again.

*Off peak stay* Has a smaller sized pool, but has a water slide. The rooms were spacious ( family of 4). Only complaint was the AC was particularly behind a desk. Good service.
Wife had a video job interview and post check out time and they let her do the interview in a space that wasn't being used.

5 stars for being actually pet friendly. Nice and cozy little place if you are staying for a day or two, everything is close by. The staff was very welcoming and allowed us late checkout. The pool is nice and clean too, there is a water slide which is probably meant for kids, but my husband turned into an 8 year old and started to have a bit of fun enjoying the water slide lol

We stayed at this hotel for 2 days as a family of a 5 and we had a great stay! The complimentary breakfast was good, the rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and the kids LOVED the clean pool and water slide. Would stay there again 100%!

Ive read many other reviews and the tiny ridiculous things people complain about...lol. For those of you who are bothered by a room that looks dated or finding a little dust here and there or no onsite restaurant....maybe you guys should be staying in 5 star hotels. I stayed 6 nights in this cozy little place. ANYTHING I needed I got from staff no problem at all. They were friendly and very accommodating . The room was clean ...yeah Im sure if I looked I could find a lil dust or a mold spot on the caulking in the shower...but tiny things like that don't bother me especially when this hotel was so cheap to stay in... I mean this day and age what more do you want for $160 a night? What you get here is A nice clean air conditioned room , cozy bed , free hot or cold breakfast ( your choice) , access to an awesome pool with super fun slide ( pool is not small , Ive stayed in dozens of hotels and believe me this is NOT a small pool.) Also access to an awesome cozy games room. Free bottles of water in the dining area and also free coffee 24hrs. ( good coffee) Blows me away that people still feel the need to complain...

Everything was great! The front desk folks called our room shortly after we checked in, made sure we were settled. It was nice. 3 different housekeepers bade me good morning, very friendly. Complimentary breakfast was big and delicious. I'd definitely stay again!
