Turtle Jack's Guelph

I recently dined at Turtle Jack's in Guelph and had a generally positive experience. The food was delicious, and the service was attentive and friendly. The staff appeared to be well-trained and eager to please, making for an enjoyable meal.

However, I couldn't help but notice that the restaurant could use some updates to its decor. While the food and service were good, the ambiance of the restaurant could be improved to create a more modern and welcoming atmosphere. Some new decorations or a renovation would go a long way in enhancing the overall dining experience.

Despite this, I would still recommend Turtle Jack's in Guelph for their great food and service. I hope to see some updates to the decor in the future, as it would make the restaurant even better.

Went for dinner after a movie. This is one of the best restaurants in Guelph. Place is cozy. Food was good and the service was exceptionally great. They do serve beer and cocktails. Prices are average. Recommend this restaurant with five stars. Wil definitely return.

Turtle Jack's provides a comfortable and inviting atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff and a diverse menu filled with high quality entrées. I recently visited this location with a group of 5 people for lunch and was extremely impressed with the speed at which we were seated, as well as how quickly our orders were taken. Our food was prepared in a timely manner and all of our food served collectively.

It is refreshing to visit an establishment that delivers both great food and great service simultaneously, creating a pleasant dining experience for all of its guests. I would strongly recommend this venue to others looking for a reasonably priced, well established restaurant for lunch of dinner.

My personal choice was the Yellow Coconut Curry Bowl with shrimp which came as a generously sized portion and exceeded my expectations in every way. This particular dish was delicious and left me wanting more.

1st time here. I order bacon burger and french onion soup. Best burger and soup I've had in a long time. After finishing my food they brought some cookies on chocolate lines.

I love the food here. I have tried at least 8 dishes and have never ever been at all dissatisfied...I have been thrilled, in fact, - I have loved them all, and serving sizes are perfect. Staff are very friendly. True, postpandemic supply problems lead to the odd disappointment for first choice, but there are lots of great "second" choices, that really could be easy first choices. I bring many other friends here. I have only used the dining area, not the bar. Overall, I am very pleased.

Went in with a group of 8 today and was greeted quickly. Our server Shawn set up our table in the back away from the door which was a plus without us having to ask. She gave us the drink deals for the day and gave us a few recommendations on lunch items as we noticed there was only one menu for the entire day. Most of my colleagues took her recommendations and were pleasantly surprised that she knew what was good. I personally had the Hell Burger and since I don't like hot stuff, she recommended to take the Jalapenos off and my burger was great. Not too spicy but it was still very good. The wait for food was quite long but we did have our drinks refilled whenever necessary and our food was delicious. Normally, I don't like when servers try to push more expensive products and extra charges but she did not recommend anything too outrageous and her recommendations for gravy and such were not too much. Our server asked us to review if enjoyed our time so I wanted to let her know that she did a great job and I would recommend this location to others. Thumbs up!

The food was delicious. I had the bison meatloaf, which was juicy and tender.
The raspberry mojito was tasty and accompanied the food we ordered.

Great food options for under $25. Lots of TVs to watch whatever event you want and a friendly staff making sure everything is alright.

Turtle Jacks has become one of our favourites. The burgers are outstanding- just like you cooked them fresh off the bbq. The roaster wings are delicious and Turtle pie is delectable. I had a wonderful experience recently. We ordered the wrong wings so my husband drove back to get our new order, and the lady he spoke to was so kind. She even gave us a coupon for our next visit. Highly recommend. Support local!

Very much improved since I was last at this location. Way better service and better food. Chicken tenders are always a safe option. Portions are still on the small side. Tenders came with a small bowl of sweet potatoe fries and a very small portion of coleslaw.

Had lunch here today right at noon with some friends. Food took a little long and overall normal experience but I could tell they were understaffed and server was working his best. He did a great job under the pressure of all the tables he had. Don’t know his name but the 5 stars is for him.

Me and a bunch of my friends went there last Saturday. We were the only table there that time. It was late night. I was a little skeptical at the beginning but the quality of the food blew my mind. I ordered the big wing sandwich with baton Rouge sauce, probably the best sandwich I have ever had. I order the same sandwich in Mississauga and Brampton locations and they haven't kept up to my expectation. Overall good quality, job very well done. Keep it up.

We were looked after by Georgia who, despite being very new, for an AMAZING job. They were short staffed but that didn't stop Georgia from making out experience enjoyable.

Turtle Jack's is a great chain with some delightful outlets. And this location at Guelph was no different.

Centrally located this centre offered the same experience like others. Despite the biting cold outside, inside was warm- not just due to the temperature but also with the warmth of the service offered.

Our server was very pleasant and explained our questions very well. Spot on with her recommendation on the beers. Food came in good time, well presented and a treat to the palate.

All in all, a great and very satisfying dining experience

Visited over 1 hour before a movie showing. Placed a dinner order but someone forgot about it. Ruined our evening, we did not get to see the movie as we dined elsewhere. All the bartender would say is, I can get the manager to discuss & gave me our drink bill! I am a frequent TJ’s customer but this location is definitely off of my list. Disgusting service.

Ordered a jalapeno burger and it came with 2 patties. Wowza. Tender and juicy. Enjoyed!

We were greeted with a friendly smile. Service was quick and the meals were very very tasty ( Turkey guacamole club & Buffalo chicken wrap, with roasted tomato soup). Excellent service provided by Magda. Light lunch crowd on a Friday.

Been going to this restaurant over the last couple decades. I can honestly say that aside from one time about 7 or 8 years ago, the food has been consistently good (and tbh I think I made a bad menu decision back then). Servers are all good and I Iike the atmosphere. I ALWAYS get the fire and ice without exception. There were times over the years my former roommate and I would be bored in the middle of the night. One of us need only mention fire and ice and we'd be out the door getting a couple. 😂
