Been going here for years and years.
Always good solid dogs and fries. You know what you are getting and it's never cold or burnt.
Had one bad 'fries' experience but everything was back to great the next visit. Easily 1000 visits over the years.

My dad has come here a few times. A fancy place for hot dogs and ice cream. I like the Betty Boop here and the service. I wonder why there are two Skinner's here.

If you're searching for the ultimate hot dog experience, look no further than Skinner's on Highway 44. My family and I recently visited this charming eatery, and we were blown away by their "world famous hot dogs!" From the moment we stepped in, we knew we were in for a treat.

My wife opted for the classic Smokie, and she was thoroughly delighted with her choice. My son, a young hot dog enthusiast, went for a straightforward yet satisfying hot dog with ketchup. His eyes lit up with joy as he relished each bite.

I, on the other hand, dared to take on the Super Dog with the works. And boy, it was truly a sight to behold – a colossal creation. The first bite was pure bliss, as a burst of flavors from the toppings melded harmoniously with the scrumptious hot dog at the core. It was indeed a challenge to finish, but every mouthful was a delight.

The hot dogs at Skinner's were not only delicious but also boasted a fantastic texture that set them apart from the rest. The buns were soft and fresh, perfectly complementing the savory fillings. Each bite was a delightful blend of flavors and textures, making every moment enjoyable.

To accompany our hot dog feast, we shared an order of fries, and they were nothing short of excellent. Golden, crispy, and seasoned to perfection, they were the ideal side dish for our family meal.

Skinner's on Highway 44 truly is a haven for hot dog enthusiasts and families alike. We can't wait to return and explore more of their mouthwatering menu. Highly recommended!

Well my mom wanted a chicken burger and it tasted bad.guess we should have brought it back but we waited pretty long for it so I gave her 1'of my chicken fingers. Won't be buying that again. $25 and half went in garbage

I was a sworn Half mooner till 2 weeks ago when I dined here. HOT dogs were delicious with a snap and the onion rings and fries piping hot and fresh.
Loved it. Big plus was an ADULT served us with a friendly smile. Nothing better. Will be back for more. Forget the cold leather dogs at Half Moon!

Great hot dogs and milkshakes. The oldest hotdog stand in Canada, according to the people there. Great atmosphere. Staff were fantastic. Will definitely go there again and again.

Interesting bit of history. Skinner's has been around for a long time. Has the feel of an old 50's establishment. Should try it once and visit Lockport.

Great selection of hard ice cream. Sprinkled waffle come is a must recommend. They also have dipped soft ice cream as well. The hot dogs are great with tons of sele tons for toppings. The poutine is also great as they use the dark oil for a more authentic English style.
