Gaffer's Restaurant & Lounge

Sat in the lounge. Food was great. The kitchen was a little slow but there were a lot of things going on in the restaurant. Service was excellent

They were so accommodating, my Husband and I both are neuro divergent and going out is very difficult for us. They put us in a quiet section with no one else, dim lights, no music. It was perfect for us. The food and service was amazing. We will definitely be back.

Truly an amazing place to visit, with awesome people and food.

Took our family here for News Years. The food was amazing. However, it took four hrs to have our meal for a $390.00 bill. Our waitress was extremely polite, professional and extremely attentive. But she appeared to have a few large parties that took the majority of her time. For a New Years event, one would think they would have more staff on. This restaurant is a favourite place for our family. So kinda disappointed with the service. But overall we had an amazing time and enjoyed the life music.

It’s our place to go for our weekly dinner and drinks. Great cook great food

The food at this restaurant & lounge is amazing. The burger was juicy and tasted really great. The rib was also cooked to perfection. The Staff were nice and would be there very quickly if you needed them. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food is always on point here, they are short staffed right now and still manage to get the dishes out promptly. We showed up for wing night on Canada Day and as usual were not disappointed! The wings are sooooo good here! I also recommend the pickerel, great atmosphere with 3 patios to choose from!

I took my dad there for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The service was phenomenal and our waitress was very attentive to our needs. The food was delicious and the portions were very good. I had the burger with sauted mushrooms and onions, it tasted great. My dad had the fish and chips and it as well was amazing, I tried a piece of his breaded pickerel and it was the best I've tasted in Manitoba, that includes Gimli. We had the beef vegetable soup to start which was good as well, lots of tasty chunks of beef in the soup. The prices we above the average but it was well worth it, I will definitely be back for more and recommend it to anyone who enjoys good food!

The whole place is beautiful..various seating areas..on a balcony facing west. Or east. A garden section in the back..
Huge dining area and separate bar/lounge..
Today was just a Reuben sandwich fries and a Malbec.

They have an extensive menu and ALWAYS a daily special that is sooo reasonable priced .
My third or fourth time here..
Calamari is large plate and so cheap..u won't believe it til u see it..
Don't walk...run to Gaffers..make it part of a drive to Lockport..
U won't be disappointed..

Very good sandwiches and homemade soup. The fruit and veggies were fresh and tasty.

Food little expensive but worth it awesome place staff is awesome it will be a good place to go for a treat but to expensive to do on a regular thing

The waitress was very nice and accommodating. I had called ahead of time to ask if there were vegan and gluten free options, the lady who answered said there were but she was mistaken. The waitress however made sure we were all able to find something we could eat 😊

There are two levels of patios with lots of room. The service is friendly and the food was great. The fresh pickerel and chips were excellent.

Melissa was an excellent server! We sat on the patio tonight upstairs she was lovely to talk with and she was efficient and pleasant. Drinks were great. We will come back!

Burger was good. Tasted homemade, and was nicely sized. I liked the atmosphere. Had a quaint cabin feel. The staff was very friendly and outgoing.

Two of us had the special, Prague Beef. Delicious. Lovely presentation. Attentive staff.

It was quiet for Easter Sunday supper. The staff are friendly and polite. The meal was very well prepared and plated. Prices range $20-$40 depending on your taste. Clean, well laid out, and space between tables.
Definitely a place we will go back to.

We had the Prime Rib, and it was perfect. Our server was also very knowledgeable about the menu and was very delightful to interact with. She took special care of our 7-year-old granddaughter, which was great to see. Will definitely go back.

I had the veg burger 😋 best veg burger I ever had. Husband had the fish burger. Manitoba pickerel, cooked perfectly. Home fries were delish. We had a pick up order so couldn't try the drinks 😢 but they sounded good.
