Called Masterworks on a Thursday afternoon re our plugged drains as wife was panicking.

Though they noted they were booked solid till late the following week, the office assistant advised she would reach out to Doug the plumber and see if he could squeeze us in Friday night after a full day on a large job he had on the Northshore. Sure enough, I received a call back and Doug agreed to drop by at 6pm on a Friday night. Not only is Doug an AMAZING plumber who clearly knows all there is to know in his profession, but both my wife and I agreed he’s an awesome guy who works his butt off to exceed your expectations and get the job done! His prices are fair and his work ethic/dedication to his craft are Top Shelf! We’ve owned several homes over the past 30 years and dealt with many trades (plumbers included...) and can honestly say they don’t get better than Doug at Masterworks Plumbing of North Vancouver!

A technician was able to come the day I called. The service was fast, friendly and honest. I really appreciated his advice and wouldn't hesitate to contact him again or refer him to family and friends.

I scheduled an appointment a week in advance. Appointment was at 5:00pm. At 5:16pm I telephoned their office as the plumber hadn't showed up. I was advised at that time that the plumber was on their way. Dean arrived at 6:02pm.

Dean was a nice guy and fixed the plumbing issue (job completed at 6:20pm - no parts required), then advised of their "flat rate" ($125 plus tax).

While Dean was preparing the invoice at his vehicle on the street, I telephoned their office to say that I think there should be a refund as they arrived an hour late. Upon his return with the invoice, I advised Dean of same. Dean said there would be no discount as they weren't "exceptionally late". I questioned what exceptionally late was, and affirmed that, not only is my time as valuable as theirs, but in my industry being an hour late is exceptional. Dean commented that their office did phone me to advise of the time delay, to which I responded that in fact it was I who contacted their office to inquire about the whereabouts of the plumber.

I did have dinner plans which I had to cancel due to their tardiness. I find their conduct to be unprofessional and disrespectful and, for that reason, I would not recommend their services.
