Went for a hike on Sunday 07/05/2020. Main parking lot was filling up as we arrived at 8:30am. Passed by Admiralty Point to visit Burns Point first. Niece and I had a great time waving at speedboats who waved us back.

The trail is family-friendly, mainly flat with some areas showing exposed roots. Took us about 2 hours to hike ~6km in and out.

Nice easy hike. Stop at Cod Rock and Maple Beach before reaching Admiralty Point. I was pleasantly surprised at seeing a garbage can at Maple Beach.

The views are incredible. I would recommend this hike to anyone who wants a scenic and long walk. The waters at the end are super pretty, you can sometimes see small fish, jellyfish ( not harmful ), crabs, and even colorful anemones! I love to go on this hike with family and friends. Love it to bits.

Perfect walk destination with lots of views and stopping points along the way.. More of a walk than a hike. 2 kms each way. An additional 1 km to Burns point. Children and pet friendly, however once you get to the Points need to be careful on slippery surfaces which could land you into the salt Chuck. Soft trail but with couple of hills with roots and rocks to navigate through. Did I mention amazing views?

Well maintained trails. Great vistas. Lots of parking. All the amenities. Careful on the trails in the autumn though - the thick mat of fallen leaves can make going slippery, especially earlier in the day.

Actually went to the end of the trail which is Burns point. It's a nice hike following within 100 ft of the Burrard inlet coast line most of the way, this hike is best done when it's not raining since mud puddles combined with slippery rock surfaces would be a challenge. There are a few pebble beaches along this hike and a nice handful of small creeks with bridges expanding over each. The trail does take you over many tree roots and rocky terrain so an eye on your footing is a must. There used to be some sort of a settlement here probably back around the 1930s and there are many clues still peeking out from the surrounding forest which is continually trying to consume all of its secrets to the past with its rainforest like growth rates. Still all very beautiful and well worth the drive in to Belecarra park. The trailhead is just to the left of the building that houses the men and woman's washrooms with your first bridge to cross right there. The first 200 yards of trail seem a little convoluted but after that its obvious where the trail leads.

Nice park with lots of trails.
The easiest access to Admiralty Point is from Belcarra. It is possible to get there from Thermal Plant Road, but some of the trails are in bad shape while other, good trails are unmarked. There are many wonderful gems on the unmarked trails. Admiralty Point has a small sandy beach that is great for kids and a great place for parents to overlook what they are doing.

Easy walk in nature. Good for family with young kid or if you up for it, put the baby in a carrier and go for it. It is a pretty smooth path. Not many ups and down.
